President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani went on Fox & Friends on Tuesday, a matter of hours ahead of the first presidential debate, and declared that there is “no doubt” Joe Biden has “dementia.” Giuliani also amplified the president’s calls for Biden to take a drug test.
“The man has dementia. There’s no doubt about,” Giuliani chuckled. “I’ve talked to doctors. I’ve had them look at 100 different tapes of his five years ago and today.”
“The Biden people say he’s fine,” Fox News host Steve Doocy replied.

Amen to that, and he can bring up consequences of a Biden presidency: free healthcare for illegals, forgive student loan debt for many, decrease funding to police, rejoin the Iran deal ...

I totally disagree. If Biden has dementia it would be on display tonight . No need for Rudy or anyone to make the claim beforehand. If he gets through tonight, and I am betting he will, it undercuts those claims and puts the Trump campaign on the defensive. In 84 the first debate saw Reagan seemingly groping for words. Questions were raised. The second debate saw him skewer and dissect Mondale. The fact that he eventually suffered and passed from Alzheimers indicates the first debate performance was more than just a bad night. Yet he rebounded big time. Biden’s handlers know his problems and medical science has made advances in 34 years. I would never have sent someone as prominent as Rudy to spread this opinion. It could backfire big time by showing both a competent Biden and a Trump campaign seemingly desperate enough to resort to scare tactics. Now I think Rudy’s claim is correct, but getting it out two days before the debate was foolish. Same with Trump’s “shot in the ass”
Ironically, Rudy sounds like he might be going a little down hill, also.
His demeanor at the ACB announcement was perfect.
Rudy is prepping Trump for the debate. And now the dementia story can’t be ignored because of Rudy. Rudy will be mocked but the story is out there now. This was all planned.

Nobody should take Biden lightly. Whatever drugs he uses will keep him appearing lucid. He has the entire media in his corner, and any favorable sound bite will be trumpeted as a “resounding victory,” even if he lapses into a drooling, mumbling mess later.

Rudy is not a doctor and should not be saying this. He should say Joe may or may not have dementia I am not a doctor, but, I do know that he is an idiot.

I believe their strategy is to provoke Trump to anger to show him as unstable. If his advisers were wise, tell him to keep his cool no matter what is said.

I just hope Trump is ready, that’s all. Seems to me the risk-averse dems would have found a reason to cancel the debate if they were concerned about Biden’s performance. The idea that Biden will stumble incoherently the whole night sounds a bit too good to be true.
Oh stuff it. what a drama queen. I am talking polls, of course. Apples with apples, 2016 to 2020. Are they accurate? Who knows. But the demographics have shifted in a disturbing way.
When I saw that this morning I quickly turned the tube off and switched to radio. Sorry Maria, but enough of her duplicitous spin.
