The hearing will last three to four days, using the format the committee has followed for recent Supreme Court nominees. Opening statements by Judiciary Committee members and the nominee will occur on Monday, October 12. The questioning of Judge Barrett will begin on Tuesday, October 13. I predict lots of gutteral shrieking from the audience.

I like the schedule. Let’s spend a couple of weeks talking about what an exceptional nominee Barrett is, giving Biden, Harris, and the others every opportunity to disgrace themselves. Then have the hearings. The GOP looks brilliant and honorable. The ‘Rats look crazy and evil. Then say, “Take it away,Cocaine Mitch!” We have the triumphant vote and then the big glorious swearing-in right before Election Day. This dominates the news for the next month. Positive, triumphant, forward-looking. This totally works for me.
“Its Graham. Hes going to allow the DEMs to cripple Barrett during the confirmation process.”
The Republicans are allowing judge Barrett to be used like a piñata by the Democrats.
Beautiful family.
Agree! Why wait so long?? Graham says out of Committee around end of Oct....only short time before election. Gives DEMS time to drag out till after 11/3.
To let the Rats make fools of themselves trying to smear her.
Love it!
Yes, but neither did she go to school there, technically. Notre Dame is next to, not in, South Bend.
why put the woman through hell
AMEN to that.
What a beautiful family!
It’s more like performance art.
Show biz for ugly people.
Yes, but neither did she go to school there, technically. Notre Dame is next to, not in, South Bend.
so now we can just wonder what kind of story one of the dems will create, just like with what they did to Kavanaugh.
The Ds making fools of themselves could, also, help turn pro-D votes to pro-R votes!
Have a little faith, people! It’s all coming together as it should. :)
Delays always make me nervous and this SC Nomination Hearing Date especially so. I wonder why not have it immediately except that I do not know what the circumstances are so will just have to wait for further information. The commie democrats cannot possibly think that they can tarnish Amy Barrett’s reputation with their usual bullying and ugliness. If they are so desperate to try roughing her up, their circus will be shut down and she will immediately be voted on and sworn in and they will lose even more bigly. Pres Trump knows what is going on so we just have to accept his judgment and wait it out.
Nope. The Dems will not die on this hill. The battle has already been fought and they lost. The Dems looked like idiots during the Cavanaugh hearings.
Too close to the election to take the chance.
