House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said on Sunday’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week,” that Democratic lawmakers have “arrows in our quiver,” when asked if impeachment was a possibility to stop a lame-duck Supreme Court nomination should President Donald Trump lose the White House in November and the vacancy following the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has not been filled.

The Democrats want to steal the 2020 Presidential Election. They know if the Supreme Court is missing a 1 judge, then any legal decision goes to Nancy Pelosi’s House of Representatives. There the Democrats would install Biden.

The traditional definition of “lame duck” is a person or group who continues to hold office after a successor has been elected but has not yet been inaugurated. In recent years, this definition has been expanded to include anyone who cannot be reelected to an office, e.g. a second-term President.
I prefer the stricter definition, so President Trump, if reelected this year, will indeed become a lame duck, but not until after the election of November, 2024.

It would require BOTH impeachment and removal before he nominates.
The problem is Democrat justices of the Supreme Court don’t live forever. Maybe if Democrats would nominate and confirm such SC justices as teenagers, they could extend their power.
