A new Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey of Likely Voters in Michigan finds Democratic nominee Joe Biden with an eight-point lead – 51% to 43% - over Trump. I went to the article and it does not give the internals of the poll. A poll that does not publish its internals has something to hide and is therefore garbage and not a legitimate poll and just an attempt to influence.

Unfortunately the democrats have been controlling the narrative of the daily news since about a week after the end of the Republican Convention. Republicans appear to be on the defensive. Time to go on the offensive and talk ISSUES.
Yes, I know these polls have been and are phony. But we must act as if we are 10 points behind. Let’s not focus too much on the comparison of the 2016 polls and todays polls. In 2016 Donald Trump was an un-tried President. Nobody (except us) knew what he would be like and I’ll bet there’s nobody here who thought Donald Trump would be as good as he has been.
And come on, Joe Biden? The man who is a known liar, copy cat... he should not be as high in the phony polls as he is now even with his 1980s brain. Add his dementia to that and he should be struggling.

What’s the benefit of the low phony Trump polls? Some Republican Senate Candidates and House Candidates may shy away from any help from Donald Trump thinking that Trump’s support may hurt them more than help, when in reality the opposite will happen.
We need to raise these phony polls as high as possible for these reasons.
* If voter fraud gives Biden a win when polling data suggested a Trump landslide, we will have more of a standing to question and seek investigations before a concession.
* If the phony polls show Biden winning but Trump wins again, the democrats are going to use that as “proof” Trump cheated, call for recounts and recounts, demand late ballots be counted and Election Day will become Election Weeks or Election Month(s).
* Low Trump phony Trump polls segregate Republican Senate/House candidates from the Republican President (because of their fear the “unpopular” president may hurt them more than help. It may not hurt Trump so much but could cost us the Senate and keep us from winning back the House. We do not want to lose the Senate and we cannot allow the dems to continue owning the House.
We need to focus on the issues while exposing the democrats riots and Covid-19 crocodile tears.
We need to collapse their base. Their black/latino base is already starting to collapse.
We need to collapse their base so badly that even those that were going to be used to cheat for the dems will be converted to vote for the democrats (and hopefully when they vote for Trump they will do it legally).

Everybody already knows Biden’s got some kid of mental issue. That horse is dead. During the debates, if it’s not an act to lower debate expectations for himself, his mental ability will be exposed. No need to lower Biden’s expectations.

Didn't Rasmussen sell Rasmussen Reports several years ago. I don't think Rasmussen is even associated with the Rasmussen Reports anymore.

I agree. If Biden is ahead nationally by only 2 points then Trump must be up in the battleground states because Biden will have lots of votes out of California, New York, Illinois, Mass. etc.
Scott Rasmussen polls have not been more favorable to Trump than Rasmussen Reports.
