Israel and the United Arab Emirates reached a historic peace deal on Thursday that will lead to a full normalization of diplomatic relations between the two Middle Eastern nations in an agreement that U.S. President Donald Trump helped broker.
Under the agreement, Israel has agreed to suspend applying sovereignty to areas of the West Bank that it has been discussing annexing, senior White House officials told Reuters.
The peace deal was the product of lengthy discussions between Israel, the UAE and the United States that accelerated recently, White House officials said.
The agreement was sealed in a phone call on Thursday between Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed, crown prince of Abu Dhabi.
HUGE breakthrough today! Historic Peace Agreement between our two GREAT friends, Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Trump wrote on Twitter.
The officials described the agreement, to be known as the Abraham Accords, as the first of its kind since Israel and Jordan signed a peace treaty in 1994. It also gives Trump a foreign policy success as he seeks re-election on Nov. 3.

Where is Saudi Arabia in all this?
Amusingly, as newsworthy as the rapprochement is, the bigger news is that Reuters reported positive news about President Trump.
[Turkey is not pleased by this one bit nor Iran.]
Of course not. /cough
I wonder how long the peace treaty will be good for.
Someone in the GCC had to be first, to test the waters of public opinion.
Others might also be negotiating for a bit more sweetener in their deal, or testing the reaction.
But I would expect more to come, like Kuwait or Bahrain. Whenever Saudi Arabia signs up though, the others (except Qatar) will fall right in.
“Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter...~ Ezekiel 13:10
“...Joe Biden is calling the agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates a historic step to bridge the deep divides of the Middle East.
The former vice president and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee issued a statement on Thursday, calling the agreement that the UAE publicly recognize Israel a welcome, brave, and badly-needed act of statesmanship and a critical recognition that Israel is a vibrant, integral part of the Middle East that is here to stay.
Biden also said that West Bank annexation by Israel would be a body blow to the cause of peace, which is why I oppose it now and would oppose it as president if hes elected when the U.S. votes in November. He said that as president, hed seek to foster a two-state solution in the Middle East.
Biden also said the accord shows the role American democracy can play and builds on efforts of multiple administrations, including President Barack Obamas...”
Trump will build the third Temple. This is an enabler of that.
Basement Joe is sooooo desperate for attention.
They back the UAE big time...
I think it will be the man of lawlessness. Whomever that may be.

It’s definitely something a few of us feel. Was talking with a Christian brother (a black gentlemen) about this around February or so. Great spirit-filled brother. Always a joy when I see him. Which is very rare now, with the -19 thing.
In fact I haven’t seen him in months - he did respond to a text a few weeks ago but not my last one.
How long until Pope Francis is praising “peace and security”?
The United Nations has already done it.
Thanks for the ping!
This is a very significant development actually.
So ive been thinking. Lots of people are saying the rapture is coming soon. Specifically lots of people are saying this fall. Im all for that if that happens.
I just want to get both of your opinions on the Ezekiel 38 war. In ezekiel 39, the part where it takes Israel 7 years to burn the weapons of that war and 7 months to bury the (irradiated) body parts. Im thinking that would have to take place 7-9 years prior to the Tribulation since israel will be in THE fight of its life when all the nations come against it.
Unless of course Ezekiel 38 is the battle of Armageddon. In which case The Rapture is soon IE this fall and it all matches up time line wise.
Your thoughts?
I think Ezekiel 38 could come first few hard to say
