Development of new Covid-19 vaccines is proceeding at a furious pace, which is good news for the world. We already have two vaccines in phase 3 trials in the US and Europe; each of these trials which will vaccinate many thousands of people, and then wait to see how many get infected. If the vaccines work, then in a few months’ time we’ll be able to start large-scale production.
But we don’t have to wait. Both of these vaccines (from Moderna and Oxford University/Astra Zeneca) have already been shown, in phase 1 trials, to be safe and probably effective. That’s why the companies are moving ahead and giving each vaccine to 30,000 more people: they are fairly confident that the vaccines are safe. The NY Times reports that 3 other Covid-19 vaccines are also in phase 3 trials: one from BioNTech and Pfizer, and two from Chinese companies, Sinopharm and Sinova Biotech.
So why not start administering millions of doses right now? We should.

Hell, no! I’ve been on FR for over twenty years, and have NEVER been tempted to hit the ‘abuse’ button. But over the past two weeks, I have been tempted to hit it on two separate occasions.
they have no idea what is safe or not. long-term effects have to be followed-up on and studied.
look at the history of china’s original SARS (1) vaccine. absolutely not safe. I have read the cdc originally wanted to roll it out here but the NIH nixed it.

the concern here is that it seems very likely that this vaccine may become mandatory before almost any mid- to long-term safety data has been developed, and given everything else we are seeing, significant issues may simply be supressed.

To date, there has never been a successful coronavirus vaccine made, due to the nature of the virus. Additionally, past attempts to create a coronavirus vaccine have ONLY RESULTED IN LEAVING THE VACCINATED PERSON WITH A HIGHER CHANCE OF SERIOUS ILLNESS AND DEATH WHEN LATER EXPOSED TO ANOTHER STRAIN OF THE VIRUS, AND ANOTHER MUTATED VIRUS WILL SHOW UP AS SURE AS NIGHT FOLLOWS DAY.
The data doesn’t add up to your claims, however, you are free to do as you will. The flip side of that is so an I. Nobody attempt to force this on me and I won’t care.

While I know you are not playing this game there are a whole lot of false flags on the vaccine out there. And all of the sudden people who support medical freedom are all about broadcasting false information to make sure people don’t get vaccinated.

I think what will be mandatory is a visible sign that one has received the vaccine; the lack of such a marker will mandate the individual to wear the mask...

I believe and predict in several years it will be found out that this was less deadly than the flu and was less contagious than the common flu.

Paid volunteers in Africa? Prisons? Or to open schools? Immigration centers?
Seen several responsible studies (IMO) that show just before, and just after, the appearance of symptoms is the most infectious time of infectees.
