Pa. will provide postage-paid envelopes for mail-in and absentee ballots for November election

The Pennsylvania Department of State announced today that it will provide postage-paid envelopes for mail-in and absentee ballots for the general election in November.

“Our goal is to make voting as accessible, safe, and easy for eligible voters as possible,” said Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar in a news release. “Mail-in or absentee voting with prepaid postage means Pennsylvanians can vote from the comfort of their own home, without having to make a trip to the post office to buy a stamp, during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Eligible voters can apply for mail-in or absentee ballots online or in person at county election offices and by paper forms.

According to the Department of State, “Once the county determines the voter is eligible, the Department’s funding will allow the counties to send a postage-paid ballot-return envelope with the ballot to the voter for their easy return.”

The state is working with counties to determine the easiest way to implement the pre-paid postage.

The general election will be on Nov. 3, 2020. For people who want to vote in person, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Last fall, Gov. Wolf signed a law that makes it possible to vote by mail without having to provide an excuse. According to the Department of State, almost 1.5 million Pa. residents voted by mail-in or absentee ballot in the primary.

Who in Pennsylvania is ‘eligible’ for a mail-in ballot?

Whelp, PA is gone. Every county has a number. That number will be attained by a greater number of fraudulent mail-in ballots.

For example: Here is how “registration” happened in Prince William County, Virginia when the Democrats took power: THE INSPECTION OF IDENTIFICATION WAS LESS THAN CURSORY. You could have showed them a Topps Baseball Card with the bubble gum still sticking to it, if you were a democrat voter. They didn’t care.

For mail-ins? This will be worse. Far worse. They are out for blood.

So making people pay the postage on an over sized envelope so they can vote is good? Really I’m surprised PA was ever doing that. As long as AZ has had absentee/ vote by mail the postage was already paid on the return envelope.

It’s a disaster and ripe for cheating in a crucial election.

The article does not sound like it is a mass mailing of a ballot to all registered voters. The mass mailing to all registered voters is what they did in Maryland for the recent primary. That is so wrong because it goes to people that haven’t voted in years, people who are dead, people who have moved away, etc. I do not mind mail in voting as long as you have to request the mail in ballot

I even think it would be a good idea to have a mass mailing to all registered voters which would be returned to sender if that person is not at the address. These return to sender names should then be removed from the voter rolls. Then let the people use that to request a mail in ballot.

Everybody needs to contact their County GOP HQ and get involved making phone calls, ringing doorbells, registering voters, helping them with ballot requests, drive them to the polls etc etc. Get involved next 90 days are crucial for the future.

Pre paid envelopes are not date stamped. So you can never tell if it was mailed before the election ended.

The fix is in. The communists will make sure no Republican ever wins an election in Pennsylvania.

The communist governor has taken over your lives.

All they want is power over you. That end justifies their corrupt means.

This is a good thing for the Democrats. Post paid envelopes are not post marked.

Get used to saying President Pelosi because that’s what’s going to happen if mail in ballots are allowed.

The Democrats who run my county have also fusterclucked the in-person voting system by shutting down all of the local polling places (COVID) and consolidating them at a huge local high school. It will be a socially distanced mob scene that will take hours to navigate.

Problems galore with this.
Who gets the ballots?
What voter list was used?
What about those that have moved?
What if a registered voter loses his ballot, can he request another and what about the lost ballot?
Can it be used?
Can the ballots be verified they were only used by the registered voter?
Are illegal aliens receiving ballots?
How many ballots will be printed and will the final tally correspond to that number or less and not more?
Must the ballots be received by a certain date?
How can double voting by the same voter be prevented?
Lastly, how are the ballots counted and who is doing the counting?
Can there be "poll" watchers?

This is an absolute mess. The best way to prevent fraud is one day for voting, just as the founding fathers intended.
