The world is ill-prepared for the global crash in children being born which is set to have a "jaw-dropping" impact on societies, say researchers.
Falling fertility rates mean nearly every country could have shrinking populations by the end of the century.
And 23 nations - including Spain and Japan - are expected to see their populations halve by 2100.
Countries will also age dramatically, with as many people turning 80 as there are being born.
What is going on? The fertility rate - the average number of children a woman gives birth to - is falling.
If the number falls below approximately 2.1, then the size of the population starts to fall.
In 1950, women were having an average of 4.7 children in their lifetime.
Researchers at the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation showed the global fertility rate nearly halved to 2.4 in 2017 - and their study, published in the Lancet, projects it will fall below 1.7 by 2100.

Not in Africa!
It should be the primary reason to LESS immigration to the country in order to keep the culture
In Israel last fall I noticed TONS of Israelis with huge, huge families—lots of little children.
Jews in Israel has figured it out. Have lots of kids and inherit the earth. Or at least have half a chance against the Palestinians. Fun to make them, fairly fun to raise them. . .they make life rich. I had 4 so I’ve done my part :)
Easy solution: Import third-world breeders.
Interesting list.
But don’t take any prediction of what the world will be like in 2100 seriously. It will be wildly off by several factors.
I watched an interesting series on Netflix, called "Unorthodox" about a New York Hasidic community. I didn't know anything about them prior to watching, and it surprised me that their women are told to have lots of kids, that it is their mission to repopulate the Jewish community. So many Jews killed in the past, so few remaining to rebuild the populace. I would like to visit Israel but the situation with the Palestinian threat are holding me back from doing so.
Clones....
But then they claim "If these predictions [regarding declining birth rates] are even half accurate, migration will become a necessity for all nations and not an option."
So basically while populations are rising and when populations decline we need to encourage folks from the Turd World to plop into the First World punchbowl.
The elite are just plain scum.
I don't think we're supposed to point this out, and certainly the MSM doesn't seem to want to.
They'll have to duke it out with the Mormons.
Probably also a bump up in imbecility rates as well.
Israel is great to visit! Yes but in between the “tension” times. I even visited the West Bank, Golan Heights (great wine up there BTW), and saw the border of Syria (chilling).
Now that there is a fence (a wall) suicide bombings in Israel are more rare.
Go see Tel Aviv, Jerusalem (spend DAYS there), the desert, the Dead Sea, the Jordan River, Cesarea Maritime, the Galilee. . .amazing holy place.
iSex?
Guess where the highest fertlity rate in the world is. Gaza. The ragheads will be producing muslims by the truck load whilst the West commits demographic suicide
Then I’m in luck :)
Reading articles like this make me fear death less :)
if biden won, i would welcome it with open arms
The Amish are the future ...
