Despite its benefits over all other economic systems, it appears that capitalism is ultimately a pyramid scheme. We need an ever larger group of suckers coming in at the bottom to become mindless wage slaves and consumers in order to feed the Platinum Level folks at the top.
I don't think we're supposed to point this out, and certainly the MSM doesn't seem to want to.

Industrialism happened in the 19th century and produced a lot of prosperity.
Socialism, communism, and war were the hallmarks of the twentieth century. One of Marxism central themes is animosity towards the family. Anyone with two brain cells can figure it out from there.
