The world is ill-prepared for the global crash in children being born which is set to have a "jaw-dropping" impact on societies, say researchers.
Falling fertility rates mean nearly every country could have shrinking populations by the end of the century.
And 23 nations - including Spain and Japan - are expected to see their populations halve by 2100.
Countries will also age dramatically, with as many people turning 80 as there are being born.
What is going on? The fertility rate - the average number of children a woman gives birth to - is falling.
If the number falls below approximately 2.1, then the size of the population starts to fall.
In 1950, women were having an average of 4.7 children in their lifetime.
Researchers at the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation showed the global fertility rate nearly halved to 2.4 in 2017 - and their study, published in the Lancet, projects it will fall below 1.7 by 2100.

Is this supposed to be a bad thing? We're all scratching our head on pondering this. The upside is that robots are taking over the menial chores and jobs. The downside is that the younger generations are supposed to pay into our Social Security funding and also pay down the debt that our politicians foisted on all of us.
My solution would be to add "R" onto LGBTQ etc. and declare that Robot Lives Matter, declare them to be equals to humans, and tax their earnings. Make them pay for Social Security because we need new suckers to fund it.

I believe that this is a problem, and will not be fixed. In the next 150-200 years, the population of the Earth will drop by about 90%
By the way, the only country that seems to understand and is doing something to counter this trend is Russia. Perhaps they will inherit the Earth by default in 200 years.

For the West, yes. Sadly. Hungary however, has seen an uptick. Poland too, if I am not mistaken. Policy and a return to traditional values will see a reversal in these trends.
We must fight for our futures.

By the way, the only country that seems to understand and is doing something to counter this trend is Russia. Perhaps they will inherit the Earth by default in 200 years. Well, not necessarily! According to the article:
"And the study says Nigeria will become the world's second biggest country, with a population of 791 million."
And Africa perhaps trebling in size. Maybe that's why liberals are pushing the BLM agenda; preparing us for our Nigerian overlords!

And Africa perhaps trebling in size. The population decline is being driven by urbanization and the population density of cities. Europe and the US urbanized before most of the rest of the world, then Asia, but now Africa is urbanizing at a fast rate too. The birth rates in Africa will also start dropping as well.

This BS, nonsensical phrase was mentioned several times in the article.I live in Spain. Their population has been rising the past couple of years due to migration, not births. It's also one of the reasons Angela Merkel wanted so many refugees to come into Europe, to replace aging workers. The problem is that as these workers come in they bring their culture along with them and soon the country becomes unrecognizable. They think that one of the reasons Europe is so clueless about this simple fact is because so many of their leaders have never had children themselves.
America isn't that far behind Europe. I was still living there when salsa replaced ketchup as America's most requested condiment and you had to press a certain key on your phone to get an English speaker. The West is being destroyed from within.

By the way, the only country that seems to understand and is doing something to counter this trend is Russia. Perhaps they will inherit the Earth by default in 200 years. "We must be increasingly on the alert to prevent them from taking over other mineshaft space, in order to breed more prodigiously than we do, thus, knocking us out in superior numbers when we emerge! Mr. President, we must not allow a mine shaft gap!"

- Militant feminism, and the uglification of the female sex
- Militant environmentalism/choice to not reproduce
- Neutering of the human male in society by claiming the existence of "toxic masculinity" and campaigns against males who display normal male behavior.
- Militant propaganda pushing homosexuality for both males and females as a preferred childless lifestyle.
- Propaganda campaigns against the so-called "mommy-track" of motherhood as a career choice for young women and girls in education.
- De-emphasis on families over careers for both men, and especially women
- Societal pressure to start child bearing later in life
- Abortion as a preferred prophylaxis for birth control due to all of the above.
- Birth control as a common everyday drug.
- Environmental hormone drug overload from sex hormones force fed to meat animals to promote meat growth, faster maturity rates, etc,
- Microwave saturation of our airwaves exponential growth in recent decades
- Except for gangbangers, too tight jeans compressing male testes into heat Mens bearing bodies (the boys need to be cool to do their best work!). Gangbangers, with pants down around knees, if they live long enough to survive the Darwin Awards, lead-poisoning semi-finals, not so much problem there.
- And finally, last, but probably not at all least: Cant put down the cellular phone long enough to have sex. . .

Why do they call “birth rate”, fertility rate.
This has nothing to do with being fertile, it has to do with purposefully sabotaging women’s fertility.
Like salting the earth and complaining about the poor yield.
