I watched an interesting series on Netflix, called "Unorthodox" about a New York Hasidic community. I didn't know anything about them prior to watching, and it surprised me that their women are told to have lots of kids, that it is their mission to repopulate the Jewish community. So many Jews killed in the past, so few remaining to rebuild the populace. I would like to visit Israel but the situation with the Palestinian threat are holding me back from doing so.
They'll have to duke it out with the Mormons.
Israel is great to visit! Yes but in between the “tension” times. I even visited the West Bank, Golan Heights (great wine up there BTW), and saw the border of Syria (chilling).
Now that there is a fence (a wall) suicide bombings in Israel are more rare.
Go see Tel Aviv, Jerusalem (spend DAYS there), the desert, the Dead Sea, the Jordan River, Cesarea Maritime, the Galilee. . .amazing holy place.
