OLYMPIA, Wash. — Governor Inslee has issued a statewide proclamation mandating the use of face masks in Washington, effective Friday.
The announcement comes as COVID-19 cases continue to rise statewide.
“There’s no room in the hospitals,” Inslee said, in response to cases in Yakima County, which potentially has the highest rate of infection on the west coast.
Starting Friday, anyone entering an indoor public space will be required to wear a face covering. That includes while standing in line, using public transportation, or spending time in a crowded outdoor area.
Those spending time alone outdoors will not be required to wear a mask.

Went to cast my vote in the one Republican primary here in Oneida County. I voted for Claudia Tenney in hopes she can regain her Congressional seat. The polling place is a senior citizen center. There was no sign on the door that people were required to wear a mask, but I brought one anyway, and put it on before I went in. I was the only voter in the place. When I walked in, none of the people working were wearing masks, and it was only when I headed for my district’s table that they all start to put them on. There was a young County Sheriff there, which is the first time in all the times I’ve voted over the years, that there has been a law enforcement presence. I thanked the Sheriff for his service, told him I spent 25 years in uniform myself, and told everyone that I was thinking of starting a riot so I wouldn’t have to wear a mask. They all laughed. The ladies at my district table asked me what party I was registered in, and I said: “Republican of course.” I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.
A spike in new cases because many more people are getting tested. I had it and 6 members of my family had it back in early March. We suspected but did not know until SIL had to get tested for antibodies for his job.

I just talked with the Evergreen Freedom Foundation about suing governor inslee over this diktak.
We the people have been supporting conservative groups with our time and treasure for decades.
Now is the time for them to stand up to these sleazy dictators and defend our freedom.
