French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Sunday that his country would combat racism and bigotry but would not let violent rioters destroy statues or “rewrite” France’s history.
“We will be inflexible when it comes to tackling racism, anti-Semitism and discrimination, and new strong decisions will be made to reinforce the egality of chances,” Macron said, according to a translation provided by TIME. “But this noble fight is perverted when it turns into communitarianism, into a false rewriting of history.”

The Brits are letting their statues be torn down left and right. And they’re being torn down by people who don’t even know who they are Or what they did.
A couple of days ago, a young black woman cheering for the removal of the statue of Churchill was interviewed and asked what she thought about Churchill...and she said she hadn’t met him personally yet! Good grief, she thought he was a contemporary person and even though she had obviously gone through school and probably university in the UK, she had no idea who he was or what he had thought about anything. Just that he was bad because he was British and white and hated by the left.
Most of these people couldn’t tell you a thing about the person whose statue they’re ripping down...just that he’s “bad.”
Hope the French hang in there. They certainly have ugly moments in their colonial history but those can be discussed and I think they have tried to right some of their historic wrongs. That’s all anybody can do. Wiping out history helps no one.
Pro athletes have a nasty surprise coming.
They start with the mass kneeling and their attendance and TV ratings go down the tubes.
