On Friday evening, a group of armed patriots in Brandenburg, Ky. protected a Confederate statue as a Black Lives Matter mob was expected to gather and potentially deface it.
The mob has made a big deal of the 70 foot Confederate statue, which used to be located on the University of Louisville campus until 2016, as they continue their ongoing cultural genocide. The patriots of Brandenburg showed up to say no more to the ISIS-style movement of destruction.

That is THE most relevant point. I hope the defenders of that statue can avoid being cast into the optic that will be created by whatever confrontation takes place. I hope a “statement” at least comparable to the one you made will be made by the defenders, otherwise they may suffer the fate of being cast as defenders of the Southern Slaveowning Confederacy. Of course one can’t even defend Washington and Jefferson at this point because of the “taint” of there being slaveowners. The idiots in the UK defaced a statue of Lincoln, I heard and somewhere in this wayward land of ours the statue of an ABOLITIONIST was defaced (if not also vandalized). The destruction of ALL statues has got to stop, and it would be nice if REPUBLICANS could get behind it wholeheartedly-—as has been reported by Tucker, one prominent one was solicited for a statement against it, and slithered out of it , saying “That’s not a hill to die on”-—the irony of it completely lost on him.

I would like to know what the statue is. The journalist only knew it was a “Confederate statue”.

I’m Jewish and I wish so much that they had not destroyed all the Nazi historical sites in Germany. I love history. Bad, good, it is all fascinating to me. I remember going for a walk outside of Stuttgart, Germany with my wife and we came upon this little town that had a war memorial to the local soldiers that lost their lives during the war. It was so interesting even though we could not read most of what was written.
