A new Morning Consult poll shows Senator Elizabeth Warren would help Joe Biden’s campaign for president more than any other potential vice-presidential candidate.
Part of the reason for Warren’s strength is certainly her superior name recognition compared to some of the other candidates. All the Democrats who are pleading with Biden to choose a black female candidate to run with him might be wrong. Warren scores well with blacks and Hispanics, and those under 45.
According to the May 22-26 survey, 26 percent of registered voters said placing her on the ticket would make them more likely to vote for Biden, while 23 percent said it would make them less likely to back him. Her positive impact on Biden increased among voters under the age of 45, who view Warren in a more favorable light than they do Biden, as well as black and Hispanic voters.
Warren would obviously solve a couple of problems for Biden who is weak with liberals and the Bernie Sanders/AOC socialist wing of the party. And Warren would be equally strong with blacks and Hispanics as Senator Kamala Harris.
The poll found other high-profile potential picks such as California Sen. Kamala Harris, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Georgia’s Stacey Abrams would have a similarly marginal impact on the overall electorate. However, Harris, who would make 22 percent of the electorate more likely to vote for Biden, roughly matches Warren’s power with key groups such as voters under the age of 45 and voters in America’s suburbs.

Well, that is a good point. I think the dems are looking at 2016 and especially when they took the house in 2018. Its a voting block they believe they cant lose; ergo that is why a shrill NE senator is being considered.

Wrong. The poll doesn’t show that Elizabeth Warren as Veep Would Boost Joe Biden Best. It shows that some people thought that it would when asked a question. It says that 13% (26 is 13% higher than 23) more people thought that she would, than thought that she wouldn’t.
The poll, as reported, is invalid. it doesn’t tell us what the other 51 percent said. 26 + 23 = 49. 100 - 49 = 51.
It doesn’t tell us what the people said about the other women, except for Harris.

My wife made a decent point. He said you ain;t black, but him getting a woman on the ticket is just as insulting since he thinks women should vote for a woman and does that make them not women if they vote for Trump?

A Warren pick would please upper middle class liberal woman who would still vote for Biden even if he personally raped their daughters with Corn Pop helping him hold them down.
It would scare suburban swing voters worried about her confiscating their portfolios and discourage key captains of industry from supporting the ticket.
It would do nothing to boost minority turnout.
It would not help with Bernie bros cause they hate her now.
Plus she’s too old and is often called Pocahontas. She just wrote an editorial about how the gov is failing Native Americans.
