Yeah, him. They should all have been hanged.

Awesome, clean and modern looking craft and facilities. Somewhere there is an Italian designer smiling:

Just saw well-wishes from William Shatner and Bill Nye(I know, I know).
I think it is awesome that our wonderful President is there doing what a President does, even with everything else that is going on. I absolutely don’t know how he does it! I think most people would have “lost it” months ago.
I love President Trump and am in prayer for a successful mission!
Our beloved America NEEDS something like this right now.

Were you in the Houston area (Clear Lake at the time)? If so you may have worked with my father. He started with Ford Aerospace.

Sounds like a personal thing. I was talking about space flight in general and launching and returning people still alive. Not funding, Obama etc. Again, space flight is extremely dangerous endeavor regardless of who is calling the shots, who is funding it, etc.
It’s not like driving to chicken licken for taco Tuesday.

If I remember correctly, the name of Griffith’s show was Salvage I, and his rocket was made from junk parts.

PS. I’ve been following the Space program since I sat in my second grade classroom watching Alan Shepherd taking off on a grainy B&W TV.

Whats the difference between Dragon and Falcon?
IIRC, Falcon 9 is the rocket, and dragon is the crew module.
Think Saturn V rocket and Apollo capsule.

Ah, ok. I believe he was working on some aspect of the Hubble program when he was there. Not sure if he was still part of Ford Aerospace when he move into the MCC. Contracts changed every few years.
To: dragnet2
Its not a personal thing. Its like Elon is a grifter. Through the Obama connections he got many govt subsidies for contracts, from his Tesla factory to his launch business. He started with wealth and he is getting wealthy off the tax payer now. Thats not what I dont like about him. Its that I dont trust him to put safety first when he looks at it as a business. How many wall streeters would you trust your life to if it was a question of bottom line?
Anyway, it is what it is at this point and I hope this launch is safe and successful.
Yes, spaceflight is risky. Ask Gene Kranz. You dont spare expense when it comes to lives.

When you hear the guys on the top of that rocket say “It’s a great day for a space launch” and the American waiting for them on the station is a Navy Captain with a Bronze Star with V SEAL, saying he is waiting for his friends to arrive, you gotta love this country.

Maybe gone soon - one patch over Orlando could be a problem but lots of weather. Here's a link that covers the USA. Go full screen, hit play/
On the play line even if stopped you can just click along the timeline for a quicker check.
Drag out, zoom in drag around the US. I like this one.
Here in Florida exciting weather can just pop up anytime.
