Just imagine the worst that could happen. It's a great motivator and may surprise you when things aren't as bad as they may seem, not to mention the enhanced feeling of joy you'll feel when things go as planned.
And above all, don't forget to ask God for His help.
Remember the 1980s TV movie “Salvage” with Andy Griffith, about a guy trying to build his own rocket and how the government did everything to stop him?
PT holds his own umbrella for FLOTUS. Unlike some people.
No, Clinton signed the executive order, and made it retroactive. He got away with a retroactive tax increase, so why not protect a “donor” from treason charges?
Whatshisname of the Honeywell division had already given the Chicoms what they needed to launch satellites, and missiles btw, successfully.
Far more safety systems in place so if something does go sideways they have a chance. and they don’t have razor blade sliced O-rings to deal with....

I was too late to be around for Mercury flights. Now I get to see a Gemini mission with a mind that will remember it!
You might try but I doubt you'd get there......
Did the USAF guy actually say 1636pm ?

Yep!!! I worked for him. He was a total scumbag. Screwed employees of Loral as well. We hated him. Loral had the Onboard Software contract when I was there. Lockheed-Martin then went on to buy the missiles and space division. I suspect Bernard was forced to sell.
Vaguely remember the show, but not the government interference.
Then there was the movie “The Astronaut Farmer”...
I was a Loral employee back then as well. Loral had bought Ford Aerospace which is how I got there.
