First commercial, manned space flight in history. First American manned space flight since the end of the Space Shuttle program in 2011.

Yeah - weird weather for this time of year. Must be Bertha.
Usually were heading into our “wet” season. East coast of FL gets morning rains/storms it goes west and around 4pm-6pm it gets to the Clearwater/west coast.
If that kicks in then the Saturday launch may be a better go - Bertha will be long gone.
We still have our camp gear but no A/C so back then we’d graduated to planning for a launch and get a motel room with a/c and even spend the next day in case of a scrub. Good times. ;-)
Yep, but there are other windows which would allow for a earlier launch. Is the weather front related and not the typical afternoon thunderstorms Florida sees in summertime?
It happens, Ive seen many space flights get delayed at the last second due to weather. When I heard there were thunderstorms/tornado warning/lightening in the area I was worried I want this to be a safe flight into space so if that means waiting a few more days so be it
Is that fact or speculation or rumor?
Risk goes up when you de-tank? Just asking........
Was it like this in the morning? If so why wait until liftoff and srub the mission minutes before instead of canceling 3hours ago when the satellite showed the weather was not cooperating. Instead they went through all the hoopla and our president appearance etc. I don’t know much about NSA regulations but this really sucked, especially for our president. The evil netsphere left are already laughing their asses off calling our prez a jinx like the much anticipated NASCAR event where it was ruined by a rain delay. I hate the left!!
And you thought high school algebra was hard...
Crosswinds are one of the main problems. Look at the early rocket launches where winds aloft sent the rocket off in a random direction.
Was this on a streaming delay????
I was listening to streaming and my wife was watching network television, and she said it was scrubbed, and they weren’t even close on line to saying that.
There are two launch windows coming up: 1522 hours EDT on May 30, 2020 and 1500 hours EDT on May 31, 2020. It appears the weather will be more favorable for the Saturday launch, since Tropical Storm Bertha will no longer affect the weather downrange.
tsla down a little after hours..which means nothing. Elon Musk has some kind of promo tonight on Jay Leno’s show. Meanwhile..Amazon down more after hours.
Bezos probably selling to fund his new girl.
I grew up in eastern New Orleans, in a suburban area that built up largely due to the Michoud Assembly Center's work on the Saturn V rocket. Lots of classmates' fathers worked for NASA or one of the aerospace contractors. When the rocket engine tests were held at the facility in Stennis, Mississippi (about fifty miles east), the low rumble would make my mother's china cabinet rattle.
I rarely go to url’s provided, but had to see yours. Just WOW, this man is a visionary and is making things happen by his shear will, and of course his brilliant employees. Too bad Demo-2 got cancelled today.

How many wall streeters would you trust your life to if it was a question of bottom line?

Good Grief! You guys are something else. Musk’s company hires the best people to make the best hardware they can. So did Steve Jobs. So did Gates etc. No one cares who you trust. The people that work at Space X trust each other and that’s what matters.
