Well,, the total deaths in the US today are 10. Yesterday it was 525.

So if we weren't doing testing, how many of these cases would show up at a hospital? The testing is verifying cases.

Yep. For all we know, only a fraction of those that have the virus are even tested, and then only because they are showing significant symptoms. So far, there is only one person identified as actually testing positive within a 40 mile radius of me. And are they going to die? Highly unlikely, especially with the malaria treatment.

NO! the worldometer numbers start over at 00z GMT....the 10 deaths you speak of were the hand full of counties the reported after that last night

In GA, nearly 30% of confirmed cases are hospitalized.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic, or if that's a real number, but it's not even noon on the East Coast. And I'm not being a doomsayer - I think it would be wonderful - and I think it's possible - that the daily death rate begins to decline soon.

I just did a refresh and the US numbers got bumped by another five.

I’m dumbfounded by a nation of 330 million being ground to a halt over something like this.
