Yep. For all we know, only a fraction of those that have the virus are even tested, and then only because they are showing significant symptoms. So far, there is only one person identified as actually testing positive within a 40 mile radius of me. And are they going to die? Highly unlikely, especially with the malaria treatment.

but NY state stats as of yesterday
52,318 cases
7328 currently in hospital (some released so not overall total)
1755 currently in ICU

In GA, nearly 30% of confirmed cases are hospitalized.
