We were at the airport ,in Boston, yesterday. There were lots of hand sanitizers and Clorox wipes ay all of the shops.
I get your point, but airborne and surface transmission is a whole different thing than bodily fluid transmission.

Hmmm. I wouldn’t put it past them to deal with 1.5 billion and growing population woes by decimating them. Watch the documentary on their ‘one-child’ policy.
But this was either some idiot selling animals they used in testing or (more likely) catching it during testing and then spreading it.
They aren’t going to admit it was their fault. So the global propaganda denouncing Sen. Tom Cotton for promoting ‘conspiracy theories.’
It’s also starting to kill off people at the top leadership of Iran and China’s own cyberhacking division. Had they the cure, you’d think they’d have used it by now or at least vaccinated those in important party jobs.
Notice how scared our media is even of people asking questions about the origins. Tells you who owns them.

I’ve been wondering what this will do to the Bay Area housing prices. Perhaps there will be an even greater flood of Chinese people getting their money out of China and buying property, driving prices up. Maybe the stock market crash and upcoming recession will cause people to stop buying and drive prices down.
The future seems murky.

This suspicion crossed my mind yesterday when I read that Deborah Birx ‘Global Aids Coordinator’ was named as the corona response coordinator.
May mean something - or nothing. “Could be”... isn’t a scientific assessment.

True but only at the very start. Shortly thereafter it was determined that SARS was more incapacitating and lethal which meant that Wuhan virus would spread wider than SARS did.

I believe the markets are not reacting as much to what is happening in China. I think people started to get uneasy when cases exploded in S. Korea, and really were concerned with the outbreak from Italy that has seeded throughout Europe.
I’m still 100% for President Trump. I think he needs to work on his messaging. People will feel better with specifics of what they are doing in terms of testing, tracing, etc.
Perhaps they aren't just employing scare tactics, but seriously, if it isn't then it will wreak devastation until a cure is developed and and sufficient quantities are produced.
Generating hysteria when there are still so many unknowns, only creates hysteria and misinformation to spread faster than the virus itself.
Now if everyone who contracted the virus died, it would be far more serious, but that isn't the case.
At this point all we can do is wait and see what the realities really are. Speculation is the worse thing we can do right now for it does nothing positive, but it does produce a lot of negatives for sure.
