Former Deputy Attorney General Donald Ayer called his former colleague, Attorney General William Barr, "un-American" because he thinks the president is above the law.
"The reason I say he's un-American...is that the central tenet of our legal system and our justice system is that no person is above the law," Ayer told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Monday. "Bill Barr's vision is that there is one man—one person—who needs to be above the law and that is the president."
Having known Barr for 40 years, Ayer told Blitzer that there was never a reason to "test" Barr's "very strong view" that the president "ought to have a great deal of power" during President George H.W. Bush's administration because the president "had no interest in being an autocrat." Now, with Trump in office, who Ayer said "apparently wants to be an autocrat," Barr's "carried out" his vision.

I loved Reagan as President but he made one huge mistake - bringing the Bush family and their acolytes inside the tent. Worthless, disloyal, incompetent, backstabbers, with almost no base among the party, what more can I say?
Bush is the biggest mistake Reagan ever made. The Bush family has a running race to see who can hurt the country more, them or the Clinton’s.
Bushes were never republicans, never. None of them.

Bush League Republicans are outraged that their 30 year bipartisan plan to turn the USA into North Mexico has been disrupted.

My guess is these people are venting now, as they were unable to speak out against Barry, Eric, and Loretta without being branded racist.

Pretty much sums it up for me, too. The Theme should be Equal Application of justice. The typical sentence for crimes such as this is 9 months.
Hell, even the criminal John Deane got only 4 months.

He might be right about Barr, but definitely not Trump.
What a scumbag this Ayers is. He's allegedly a Republican. He's known Barr and worked with him for years. And he trashes him like this to score cheap points. I'd say this is the typical scumbag move of the type of person who infested the Bush Administrations but then again, Barr was in the Bush Administration so I won't make the sweeping comment.
You get the same ring of Hell that your old boss is in now, Ayers. Enjoy!
