Judge slams police for ‘Gestapo’ investigation of UK man’s tweets critical of transgenderism

LONDON, England, February 14, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – A UK High Court judge ruled today that it was “unlawful” for police to investigate a man for writing tweets critical of men who say they’re ‘women’ and to record it as a “hate incident.”

Mr. Justice Julian Knowles stated that for a member of Humberside Police to go to the workplace of Harry Miller and upbraid him for his political opinions was a “disproportionate interference" with Miller’s freedom of expression.

Last January, Humberside police officers went to Miller’s business to investigate a third-party complaint that Miller had posted “transphobic” tweets...

When Miller spoke with Police Constable (PC) Mansoor Gul, he was given a mini-seminar in trans ideology. Gul also informed Miller that although Miller had not committed a crime, his tweets would be recorded as a “hate incident.”

According to the BBC, Knowles said that the impact of the police turning up at Miller’s work "because of his political opinions must not be underestimated"

"In this country, we have never had a Cheka, a Gestapo or a Stasi. We have never lived in an Orwellian society."..

only one person had complained about Miller’s tweets and that her complaint had been recorded as a hate incident “without any critical scrutiny … or any assessment of whether what she was saying was accurate.” ..

The former police officer said that the case had exposed that Britain has an ideological police force. Miller was particularly pleased that Knowles had made reference to the Soviet, Nazi, and East German secret police to describe what the Humberside constable had done....

He finds the provisions in the guidance for accepting third-party perceptions of “hatred” with no evidence being necessary “irrational.” Miller added that there have been 87,000 so-called “non-crime crime incidents” recorded.

This is where Plan 9 from Sodom, the H.R.5 - Equality Act could lead to.

But you will notice that there are beginning to be more stories out of the United Kingdom where sanity prevails.
Brexit is having an effect.

That’s great.

transphobic..IS NOT A WORD!!

I have a general repulsion for people who want to make this mainstream.

Get your body butchered and wear a dress...ok.

But you are not a woman.

And OF COURSE no one should ever be FORCED to say you are one.

You are pretty mentally sick and I guess the Christian in me should feel pity and I do. What a miserable life to lead.

But you can’t force this garbage on the rest of us.

Expressing an opinion is ‘hate’ which is a ‘crime’ according to ‘native Briton’ Mansoor Gul.

I watch mostly British tv shows because we live in Spain and my wife is British. It is nothing for the police in their shows to walk into someone's house unannounced, with no one around, and go rummaging through their things looking for evidence. They track every move with cameras, monitor the phones and micromanage every bit of law enforcement while letting major crimes go unsolved. Even with all of their police state tactics 71% of crimes go unpunished and the ones that do get caught get sentences that are laughable by US standards. They make it worth your while to be a scam artist, so much so that people emigrate from other countries just to come to the UK and rip people off. They can steal millions, finally get caught, do 2 years and retire in luxury after they get out. Crime pays and pays well. Just don't go calling attention to yourself by saying something truly criminal like marriage should be between a man and a woman.

I understand the British are spineless towards the muzzards because they are dependent on Middle East oil or they just have been bought off. But trannies, guys in skirts, why do they get a free ride.? Seriously. I know here it is part of the General Bullmoose Strategy, in which the left invents a fake cause and uses the media to activate the brain dead publix skul zombies to make normal Americans have to accept something that beyond absurd and culturally destructive. But in the UK we have the cops threatening people for a lot less than is said here. Why is the Brit Establishment in love with trannies? Serious question.

Glad to see that there is at least one sane judge in England. Most sound like blithering PC idiots who never read a law book. Perhaps they all should be made to re-read the Magna Carta and its successor documents, and the U.S. Constitution/Bill of Rights.

The UK needs to get itself a formal, written constitution that protects the citizenry from its government. And they need to get it ASAP.

We hope so.

We started with a question that the Pew Research Center has run in the US, to gauge whether PC turned out to be less of an issue in Britain than in America. Instead, we found the reverse. By two-to-one—67 per cent to 33 per cent—Britons believe “too many people are too easily offended these days over the language that others use,” as against the view that care with language is needed “to avoid offending people with different backgrounds.”...

That was in 2016, the year Trump was elected, and fully 79 per cent of Republican voters then believed that people were offended too easily. But the overall American lead is not as large because Democrats leant heavily the other way. In Britain, Conservative voters look a lot like Republicans on this measure—79 per cent of Tories take the “too easily offended” line, as do 79 per cent of “Leavers.”

If the opinion is politically incorrect, usually meaning being against what God has ordained, such as that God made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified (Mt. 19:4–6) - and Scripture only condemns homosexual relations wherever they are manifestly dealt with.

p>It was not a total victory for Miller and his citizens’ rights organization Fair Cop: Knowles rejected Miller’s argument that the College of Policing guidelines on hate crimes are unlawful. The judge decided that they “serve legitimate purposes” and are “not disproportionate.”

for one, "Why Did British Police Ignore Pakistani Gangs Abusing 1,400 Rotherham Children? Political Correctness"

Impossible, you will say, that such a thing could happen in Britain. In fact it is only one of over 1,400 cases, all arising during the course of the last fifteen years in the South Yorkshire town of Rotherham, all involving vulnerable girls either in Council care or inadequately protected by their families from gangs of sexual predators. Almost no arrests have been made, no social workers or police officers have been reprimanded, and until recently the matter was dismissed by all those responsible as a matter of no real significance. https://www.forbes.com/sites/rogerscruton/2014/08/3

In the UK, you have two new masters to whom you must bow down in submission: the trans crowd, and the gang rape bearded savage crowd.

The politicians have chosen them as their new gods, and willingly do whatever they demand.

Why is the Brit Establishment in love with trannies? Serious question.

Why? Simply because they are further along in spiritual and moral degeneration. Consider who is running this show, and his history and goal. Every one of the major liberal planks is that of a perversion of what God ordained, and which is right and best for man, as the devil, who evidentially selfishly lusted for power and glory in seeking to sit as God, (Is. 14:14) works to created an alternative world in which he is Lord - thru his proxy servants - and thereby boast. And the victim-entitlement tactic was first employed in the Garden of Eden on Eve, the first one to vote "liberal." Stalin did much the same as a proxy servant of satan.

Truly,

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

Anarcho-tyranny is essentially a situation where the only things which get punished, are incidents which show the person is "politically incorrect ".
