Andrew McCabe's legal team denied a claim that the former FBI deputy director was offered a pre-indictment plea deal from U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is conducting a criminal inquiry into the origins of the Russia investigation.
Conservative commentator Mark Levin said on his radio show a "very good source" told him that McCabe had rejected the offer, after which Durham impaneled a grand jury in Washington, D.C.
"This is what I was told by a very, very, good source. No, not the attorney general. No, not the U.S. attorney. Remember, I worked at Justice years ago, so I know a lot of people. Could be wrong, but I'm told it's pretty solid. That is that Durham offered McCabe a pre-indictment plea agreement and McCabe turned it down, so they impaneled a grand jury in Washington, D.C.," Levin said Friday.
While acknowledging that he did not have first-hand information, Levin hinted that CNN where McCabe became a contributor in August was aware of this, and he challenged the media to "go ahead and check this out."
McCabe's legal team denied Durham had made any such offer. Any assertion that Andrew McCabe was offered a plea deal is 100% false," a representative for McCabe told the Washington Examiner.
Durham's office declined a request for comment.

Wasn't it just last weekend that Joe DiGenova was telling someone in the conservative media that his sources had tipped him off about indictments coming this week?
These bullsh!t artists in the conservative media peddle fake news as badly as CNN and MSNBC do.
Guliani was probably the source. Guy’s yapping empty talk all over the place.
“. ..Any assertion that Andrew McCabe was offered a plea deal is 100% false..,”
DOJ didn’t even try to squeeze him.
Apparently DOJ is just fine with its employees lying to frame innocent people.
Apparently DOJ is fine with people serving nine years for lying, so long as they aren’t DOJ employees.
FUBB!
Yeah thats my take
Why should Durham offer a deal? DOJ has yet to indict
ONE.
SINGLE.
PERSON.
This is why early indictments were utterly necessary. They showed that you couldn’t play with DOJ. Now, no one takes them seriously.
Please, oh please.
Just read another Freeper post that said DOJ is not going
to persue this creep

So which story is the truth?
Odd, RUSH’s sub today said they were NOT going to prosecute McCabe, they were letting him off the hook.
The actual date of the article: by Daniel Chaitin & Jerry Dunleavy October 30, 2019 11:34 AM
DOJ can’t pursue him, apparently Barr can’t do his job because of tweets so he’s letting all the criminals off the hook.
OMG, you are right. Thank you!
The DOJ has ended the criminal probe. This is a clear sign that the double standard between Republicans and Democrats remains. This was under Barr’s reign and he needs to answer for this. Until Democrats start being indicted Trump should pardon every Republican who is investigated.
When all government ...in little as in great things... shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power; it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." -- Thomas Jefferson, 1821
Now it makes sense why Barr went on a national mediapuke news outlet! The fix was ALWAYS in and will be in for the rest of the swamp HOAX collaborators! It infuriates me to no end! Seems that the American people are going to have to take it into their own hands to get justice !
And...you know that, how?
Justice in America is dead.
Michael Avenatti has not only been indicted for multiple charges he is now sitting in jail for violating the terms of his release. Does that count as one?
