Actor-comedian Ricky Gervais viciously trolled Hollywood celebrities just hours ahead of Sundays Academy Awards, preemptively deflating their self-important acceptance speeches in a series of humorous tweets.
Ricky Gervais took the stars to task for their progressive views on migrant workers, noting that many celebrities employ migrants in their homes to perform menial and backbreaking work.
I cant wait to hear all your inspirational speeches about equality, and its great that the 3 hours youre here tonight is the only time your badly paid migrant house staff will get some time off to sleep this week https://t.co/fsFbdDkv6u

The British comedian also mocked the sex scandals that have consumed the entertainment industry during the last three years.
Its great to see such diversity in the room tonight. Rich sex pests of all shapes and sizes https://t.co/fsFbdDkv6u

Gervaiss Oscars trolling was in response to a hypothetical question posed to him on Twitter asking what jokes he would make if he were hosting the Oscars tonight.
This years Academy Awards will be hostless, marking the second year in a row that the shows organizers have opted to do away with a host after Kevin Hart stepped down last year following the mainstream medias efforts to destroy his career by digging up his old tweets.
Viewership of the Oscars has been on a downward trajectory as viewers tire of Hollywoods political hectoring and non-stop bashing of President Donald Trump.
Ratings have fallen since 2014s high of 43.7 million viewers. In 2018, the show only managed to draw an audience of 26.5 million, its biggest yearly decline.
In January, Gervais hosted the Golden Globes, ripping decorum to shreds by cracking jokes about virtue signaling celebrities, Apple sweatshops, and Harvey Weinstein.

I hope he live Tweets
SOOOOO glad it’s pouring down rain on them tonight
Will this be the official “Golden Calf” award show thread?
There are Academy Awards tonight? Who Knew?
Not watching. Who cares?
Remember the Don Imus “Imus Minus” trophies?
Every “participant” should get one.
We were really excited about the Oscars, in the early 80’s.
That was the last time we watched.
Yeah we get too worried when the person smashing them doesn’t like our side either or is an atheist. Or something or things we don’t agree with.
Can’t we just enjoy seeing someone smashing the hell out of them and enjoying it?
I am :)
Why would I watch 3 hours of people I don’t like or have any respect for?

The last time Hollywood did something that didnt offend us I cant remember when.
Yeah, and let’s hear about the evils of walls to keep people out from people who run back to their gates mansions. Nauseating stinking hypocrites.
“gated” not gates. I wish we had an edit feature.
ditto
The doctrine of equality! There exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.

There is all the difference in the world between treating people equally, and attempting to make them equal. Frederich Hayek
I’m not watching either, but I am entertained by Mr. Gervais’ comments and jokes at their expense.
It's cheaper than shelling out $15 to see them read other people's words on a big screen.
The last time I watched was when “The Sting” beat out “The Exorcist” for best picture. ‘75? ish?
For the Irishman to even get a nomination is a farce. Longest most boring movie made.
