It’s a foregone conclusion that the Dems will ram these all through.

Hit send too soon - Anyway, this is the fault of the VA GOP screwing up big time and VA voters refusing to hold their nose and pull the GOP lever in the general election.

Do what the Dems do: get a TRO (if you can find an intelligent judge)...

If a single Federal judge can overturn an anti-abortion law passed by a state legislature and signed by the governor, why can’t one overturn a clearly unconstitutional law?

Actually, the GOP did turn out and voted for a majority. The Demonrats (thanks to their judicial tyrants) ordered lines drawn by some California resident to explicitly draw a Demonrat majority achieved by a minority of the vote. Pure disenfranchisement. Hence, this is an illegal and FAKE legislative “majority” and anything passed by it should be thoroughly and completely disregarded as totalitarian tyranny.

Sit back and wait for the tipping point.
It will come.

The government of the state of Virginia has to be stopped or all states controlled by Democrats will follow suit.

This is payback to Mike Bloomberg for campaign money.

The Dems have FINALLY screwed the pooch.

The Right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed by the Federal Government.

Consequently all gun control laws on the state and local level are as unconstitutional as would be any state law regulating the right to vote.

There is no difference

They have to stopped one way or another.

"The Right to keep and bear arms is guaranteed by the Federal Government."

The right to keep and bear arms (to defend oneself) is a God-given natural human right. The Constitution prevents the Federal Government from infringing on this right.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

So true, and so sad!

How can you win and election if only 40% of the electorate turns out?

Perhaps the shame and ignominy the VA Republicans brought down on themselves last November will result in a huge Republican turnout this November?

>Passive or active resistance?

I recommend lawfare; use their methods against them. 30 seconds after the bill is signed, NRA, GOA, and as many VA Freepers as are lawyers each file for injunctions in friendly court venues.

A 40% turnout? I don’t think so!

Don’t be too quick there. Other amendments addressing civil rights are certainly not limited to federal entities.

Fair enough. I’m pointing out the foundational principles of the constitution. We need to communicate the basics whenever we can.

It’s not like any of the pols or bureaucrats are paying much attention to it these days.

I’m old enough to remember when conservatives thought that there were actually DIFFERENCES between Republicans (even RINOs) and Democrats.

...these days quite a few Republicans, at least in Virginia, don’t think that’s the case. Well, that was until they helped enable the Democrats to take total control there. Hope they enjoyed their guns.
