Liberals are breaking out in flop sweat that impeachment is going to backfire and that Donald Trump will be re-elected in November. So if you need someone to shake you out of your fears, there's always pseudo-conservative David Brooks of The New York Times. On the Friday "Week in Politics" segment on NPR's All Things Considered, he said Democrats are "crazy" to think Trump can win again.

Well, Gee, the, Mr. David Brooks, if we’re going to lose anyway, then we have NOTHING TO LOSE by arresting and jailing every democrat POS involved in the coup attempt against a lawfully and legally elected President.

Conservatives should be very vary of overconfidence about 2020. The RATS are motivated like never before and will try to steal any close elections nationwide.

Actually I would be surprised if 50% of Democrat votes were valid.
Trump will not lose.. anyone telling you he will doesn’t understand the first thing about American politics, let alone human nature.
Trump will win every state he took in 16.
He will take most of not all states he got over 45% of the vote in in 16 and lost.
He will take the battle to states where he got around 40% or more of the vote in 16 and don’t be shocked if he wins a few of these as well.
There is zero chance, short of an economic meltdown before November or some other black swan event that the democrats will win the White House.. regardless of who the nominee is.
Brooks Prolapsed anus must have migrated to his pea brain to even suggest a Democrat can win in 20.
Before this impeachment fiasco the best case, regardless of the nominee was about 15 states and DC for the Dems in 2020 and the only question was will they hold the house.
Post impeachment the best case is 10 states and DC and zero chance they will hold the house.
The Fix is in (again) and maybe they learn from their mistakes (doubtful). Probably knows details of scandals and investigations we will be hearing about for the next five years.

Hmmmm. NV? Vegas votes too far outnumber the rest of the state. Toss in Reno/Truckee meadows and, no win. Sad to say.
There’s really no reason for dems to vote in this election because everyone is going to vote for whomever the dem nominee is anyway.

David Brooks: It Is Accepted “Fact” That Trump Will Lose
I heard that because of the expected turn out “they” have changed it to Republicans first Tuesday and dems on the 2nd Tuesday. To avoid traffic and stuff.
NPR exists because GOP Senators keep voting to give them more money.
I guess Brooks found the creases in Trump’s trousers insufficient for a second term.
Well, if one tosses in steak and ketchup, pizza with a fork and no more star studded soirees a the WH, yeah I can see they would be unhappy.
