Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives have officially impeached the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, over an interpretation of a 30-minute phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The vote in the House took place after around 10 hours of debate on the floor, after a near-three month process, and just one day shy of the 21-year anniversary of the impeachment of President Bill Clinton – another of only three Presidents ever impeached.
The two articles of impeachment passed as follows (numbers will update as results come in):
Article 1: Abuse of Power: 230 YEA vs 197 NAY vs 1 PRESENT
Two Democrats voted ‘NAY’ on Abuse of Power while one – believed to be Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard – simply voted “Present” – a form of abstention.
Article 2: Obstruction of Congress: [Awaiting Result]

The Democrats have so degraded the Impeachment process that in the future impeachment of a Republican by Democrats will be considered a badge of honor by the Republicans.

Nixon was never impeached. He resigned his office.
Andrew Johnson, Abraham Lincoln’s second vice-president, was impeached but narrowly avoided conviction in the Senate.

Yesterday while Congress was still doing the final vote, FOX put an image up that I mistook for the final votes, which was nothing more than an interim vote on procedures. So FOX led viewers to believe that was the final vote.

This is political suicide for democrats. They know it. So why did they impeach President Trump?
Because they know, with certainty, that the Barr investigation is so devastating that they will get pummeled in the 2020 election. All of them. At all levels. Institutions like the FBI, CIA, State, Treasury and others will be outed and humiliated. Multiple senior officials will be indicted, plead guilty, and found guilty.
And finally, it was Obama. Barack Hussein Obama orchestrated the whole thing. His legacy will be that of the worst, most criminal, and most evil President/Leader ever.
The only question is whether Trump will ultimately pardon his predecessor.
Late Spring, or early Summer is when we can finally start the process of rebuilding our Republic.
