Rep. Blumenauer says he has approached Pelosi about this and said she indicated she's "considering it." He argued that a delay would allow the House to continue collecting evidence and possibly win favorable court rulings to advance their case.
So... the House could vote to impeach the President, and just never send the articles of impeachment to the Senate for trial? Then they could just cluck about claiming they impeached him? Do it! Brilliant! The only question remaining is how many seats will they lose next November? 50? 60?
Great news. While the dems drag their feet, Trump will continue nominating federal judges for the Senate to confirm. The people’s work. LOL!!!
That’s true ... I think Pelosi — for all her mental disabilities — is a crafty enough politician to know that impeaching Trump like this is a nuclear-level blow to the Democrat/Left Party and may very well cost them the House. I think she’s desperate for a way around holding the vote but her options and time are running out.

The entire house has become so much better since we lost the house, I hate to say this but by losing the house WE DRAINED THE SWAMP, we will get the house back and will be RID OF THE RINO traitors!!! Ryan as speaker was the worst possible choice EVER MADE!!!

I sure hope before the vote is taken in a few minutes that someone will bring this up.....that consideration is being given on holding up sending it to the Senate.

a) make recess appointments
or
b) FORCE both chambers into session.

Blumenauer said the point isn’t to put pressure on McConnell, it’s to have this hanging over Trump indefinitely with no acquittal. “Trump will go crazy. He cannot contain himself.” And if Trump is raging, that causes stress for all Republicans.
Well you have to admit: if we impeach the next Dim president for however long they are in office, it would help to keep a tab on them and perhaps even keep them somewhat honest.
Impeaching Obama for eight years would have “killed” him.
That will work until about half the Dem caucus is arrested, sent to Gitmo for trial, and hanged within 48 hours.
It's the type of argument both sides can claim victory and its up to the voters to decide. That's why I like it We know who would win that decision.
I doubt even MSM could find a good way to defend this. The Ds don't have the nerve to withdraw. But it certainly exposes the Ds as the deceitful slimes we know they are. This tactic might inform the rest of the electorate to the Ds detriment.
