Rep. Blumenauer says he has approached Pelosi about this and said she indicated she's "considering it." He argued that a delay would allow the House to continue collecting evidence and possibly win favorable court rulings to advance their case.

The 8 year impeachment
Every time there is talk of delays, like before the inquiry, during the inquiry, and now just before an impeachment vote, the DEMs suddenly press forward. It’s part of their narrative, touted by Pelosi today in black, to only act on the impeachment process after serious consideration. Of course, “serious” might mean after a celebration party on the DEMs’ part.
You CANT hold up impeachment articles for treasonous activities where you have claimed that the president is a threat to the nation by remaining in office.

I have predicted they will do this. I will argue that the President has NOT then been impeached since the House did not finish the job. Premature impeachment.
