'The law is the law': Virginia Democrats float prosecution and National Guard for police who fail to enforce gun control legislation
Washington Examiner ^ | 11 December 2019 | Kerry Picket

Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill say local police who do not enforce gun control measures likely to pass in Virginia should face prosecution and even threats of the National Guard.

After November's Virginia Legislature elections that led to Democrats taking control of both chambers, the gun control legislation proposed by some Democrats moved forward, including universal background checks, an “assault weapons” ban, and a red flag law.

Legal firearm owners in the state, however, joined with their sheriffs to form Second Amendment sanctuary counties, which declare the authorities in these municipalities uphold the Second Amendment in the face of any gun control measure passed by Richmond.

“The people should not fight with the cannon fodder sent by the politicians....fight the politicians directly.”

Either heed the words of Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn or suffer his fate.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?
Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” — Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn

When the lackeys and henchmen of the communist “lawmakers” understand there is a very real price to be paid they will have fewer and less reliable lackeys and henchmen.
Aim small, miss small.

From the novel I am writing:

When California seceded, Washington, Oregon, and New York quickly followed declaring that their new union to be called the Peoples’ Republic of America. The New England states, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, and Pennsylvania followed suit to join the PRA, as did Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Colorado. Parts of California split, denounced the secession; forming a new state called Jefferson and applied for statehood in the old USA. Eastern Washington and most of Oregon also left the PRA. The rural parts of Minnesota, Illinois and Pennsylvania divorced themselves from the left wing lunacy of Minneapolis, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

Because you don’t engage the storm troopers. You go after the politicians who made the unconstitutional laws. If a few of them are hanged from lamp posts, the rest will quickly get the message that they overplayed their hands and tyranny will not be tolerated.

I disagree. To be effective, you have to engage both. I believe the following is relevant...

"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward."

If you’re close and can make it, please go. Something like that would send a powerful message.

And South Carolina house introduced a bill to debate secession, over possible future federal gun control.

Still, South Carolina..secession.

So eerie.

THAT should kick off the increasingly unavoidable CIVIL WAR,II!
A friend who is a ranking officer in our county PD once told me that the signal that an order had come down to begin rounding up civilian weapons from decent citizens would be the sound of “disturbances” and gun fire from the local cop shop as those officers who would NOT carry out the order tangled with those who would.
That said, another bud who was active National Guard commented that if “THEY” (and we all know who “They” are) DID round up our personal weapons, he and his RTKABA buds would open the local armories and we’d have access to some serious shit!
MEMO: Locate YOUR nearest NG armory and be alert to any activity involving vehicles carrying loads AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE as that could be a precursor to aggressive moves by the Deep State. (Blue helmets in the area will be another.)
RED FLAG LAWS: INNOCENTS WILL DIE!

Sad that so many are not concerned that the ravenous alligator of statist government devours our neighbors while hoping
the creature is no longer hungry when it gets to them. NEWS FLASH: The damn thing is ALWAYS HUNGRY!

I’m not far, couple of states. I go to the VIR Range at the International Raceway for shooting competitions two or three times a year. These are often very large National Matches and most of the big pro shooters know the place. Those are the guys putting this thing on.

Prosecution?

The Supreme Court of the United States will not be kind to the State of Virginia.

“the right to bear arms shall NOT be infringed.........”

Watch the militias organize and grow in Virginia.

What else would these socialist Dems expect? Their grab for ultimate power over the 2nd amendment will fail.

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS !

Russia gets a bad rap due to their history and evil leadership in the past. Communist Soviet Russia is a very different place than it is now.

Why the radical left wants to take America down that same failed road is beyond me. Just stupid and ignorant I guess...

And a lot more hunting rifles that were never used for hunting. Long range target practice just for fun. They make great sniper rifles in a pinch in the right hands.
