Survivor: Island of the Idols was rocked by scandal on Wednesday, when two contestants admitted they exaggerated a complaint of inappropriate touching in order to win the game.
With the support of the other women, Kellee brought her complaints to producers, who mediated the situation off-camera with all the shows cast. However, once Kellee was out of earshot, Missy and Elizabeth admitted to each other that they exaggerated their reactions to Dans behavior in order to better position him for elimination.
According to People, Elizabeth even brazenly admitted that she didnt feel uncomfortable but said if she can play up that card in whatever way possible, Ill do it.
She added: Honestly, Ive felt safe this entire time and if I had felt uncomfortable I would have said, Please stop.'
Dan, a Hollywood agent, was given the chance to apologize for his actions during the Tribal Council.
I couldnt be more sorry...I have a wife, I have been married for 21 years, I have two boys, I have a big business, I have lots of employees.

This pretty much sums up what the lying #MeToo movement was.

In this environment it’s stupid for a man to touch any woman who isn’t his wife or has initiated contact first.
To spark ratings, producers will portray some people as nice and others as villains so the audience develops a rooting interest.
They will selectively edit scenes that may highlight that storyline. Whether staged or just creative editing, it helps to sell the show.
Gotcha. 8>)
I really detest people who admit to having ever watched Survivor, but want to make themselves sound so superior but dissing people who play the game or who watch the game. Of all the “reality” shows, and there are NO reality programs, not even the News, Survivor has proven to be the most honest of them all.
I am glad I have neither the time nor the interest for that stuff.
Except maybe for Big Brother...or Dancing with the Stars...or Masked Singer...or, aw hell, all that crap sucks.
Just my opinion, don't care if anyone likes it or not.
Fixed that for you. That ship has sailed too.
The liberals are taking us right back to puritan days (or Islamic sharia). Unintended consequences.
“I think production and Jeff milked it for all it was worth.”
I’ll go a step further... Jeff & the showrunners set the whole damn thing up. It backfired only because the other ‘target’ who was also the instigator, was too stupid to play 1 of the 2 immunity idols that she had. And she knew that she was going to pull at least a few votes.
LOL! I watch it every week because, well, the wife loves it! You can see the manipulation of the audience by the show producers. You just know that they are reviewing the Q-scores of the players and trimming the game strategy to preserve certain players to the end. It’s really obvious on “Amazing Race”. If you have a high-enough Q-score and have a bad round — guess what? It isn’t an “elimination round”! Hey-hey, live to play another day!
Reality TV is fake? I’m shocked!
