I think it can fairly be said that the public phase of Adam Schiffs impeachment inquiry didnt quite go as Democrats had hoped. Aside from being a snoozefest of epic proportions, bereft of dramatic outbursts and smoking guns, it also made very clearat least to those willing to sit through itthat the case against the President relies almost exclusively on the opinions of career bureaucrats about conversations to which they werent even a party, rather than on any kind of hard evidence. If anything summed up the disaster that
Democrats are slowly beginning to realize they face, its Illinois Representative Mike Quigleys hilarious spin, [C]ountless people have been convicted on hearsay. Hearsay can be much better evidence than direct.
Now consider that Ukraine has been a major focus of Attorney General Bill Barrs investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. Also consider that Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham have spent a lot of time in Kiev interviewing Ukrainian officials as part of that investigation. And now, finally consider that the Department of Justice has recently shifted that investigation over to a criminal probe.
Seen in this light, the rush to impeachment can only be viewed as a panic move on their part. By attempting to cast Donald Trump as the corrupt actor in the Ukraine saga, theyre truing to divert attention from themselvesand then set up the spin, when the results of the Barr-Durham probe become public, that Trump is trying to cover up his own corruption by going after Biden, Kerry and other Obama administration figures. Its a tried and true Democrat tactic: accuse the other side of doing what they themselves are guilty of, with the mainstream media acting as crisis management.
Batten down the hatches, because its gonna get ugly.

Well...yeah.
Do bears defecate in the forest?..................
Is that a rhetorical question?
That may be a secondary motive, but I think they do sincerely hope to oust POTUS from office.
Or, at least appear to have tried to do so, when their voters go to the polls next time.
JMHO
yes
You bet. They have to get rid of Trump before the IG’s report and subsequent indictments come out.
It has always been about a cover-up. More so for Hillary than Obama, but Obama was involved up to his chin.
Yes. Mostly money laundering with tax dollars going overseas and then clean as Hunter Biden’s baby’s bottom back to the Beltway establishment. Benghazi, Ukraine, Haiti, Puerto Rico, North Korea, Tehran, etc........
Here is how it will end.
- Committee will take a vote on whether impeachment inquiry should continue (no mention of how)
- Dem majority will vote Yes
- Media will dutifully report TRUMP LOSES IMPEACHMENT VOTE
- The nation’s future will depend on how many people are actually watching the magician’s hands . . .
Can’t have the first half black half white muzzie loving president exposed. I mean he got the Nobel peace prize now didn’t he. Not a smidgen of corruption.
IIRC, HRC’s biggest donor was Ukraine.
Then you have all these children of ‘Rats in the mix as bag men.
uhhh, hmmm, ehhh, YES!
Are leftists professional projectionists?
Yes, and more.
The Constitution gives the power of impeachment to the House with complete freedom to define what constitutes a high crime or misdemeanor. That the House Democrafts are willing to use this political tool with such a flimsy and weak case tells us just how desperate they are to stop Trump.
Ask yourself “What could possible make them so despearate?”
What motivates all desperate human acts? FEAR.
Well, no.
I believe the impeachment proceedings are a threat to ward off the coming death of the party when the indictments start flowing. They know, everybody knows that a terrible plague on the Democrat party is coming.
Trump et al are going to kill them. Some may literally die from anxiety and frustration and apoplexy.
An unnamed associate carrier bureaucrat will testify they dont and have never pooped in the woods.
Ia the Pope Catholic?... er, never mind.
