Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced on Friday that she will not seek re-election to Congress in 2020 so that she can focus on her bid for the White House.
“I will not be seeking re-election to Congress in 2020, and humbly ask you for your support for my candidacy for president of the United States,” Gabbard said in a video published early Friday morning.
The decision to not seek a fifth term representing Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district makes way for a competitive race for her seat, reported Hawaii News Now. The local outlet points out that Gabbard’s absence from Congress “likely has repercussions for other local races.”

Actually, don’t be surprised if she winds up getting a high-level job at the State Department, perhaps even Secretary of State, with the job being to CLEAN UP the mess that Obama and Skunk Cabbage made in the Middle East.
She’s obviously in-line with Trump regarding that part of the world and there are VERY, VERY, FEW others, of either party, who agree with Trump/Tulsi on our need to extract ourselves (although 60% of the public wants us out too).

You folks are not paying attention to the Gabbard threads here if you think that is a given (I notice Mitch is a noob so I realize you may be a troll). No, I'm not going back to find posts but plenty here, on this very conservative site, greatly admire Gabbard.
She endorsed Sanders in 2016. That show where her heart truly lies. And she has flip flopped on abortion for political reasons so we know she has no character. It has to follow that Trump is the last one she wants in office in 2021. She very well may be positioning for a third party run. One that will be strategically developed to take more votes from Trump than the Dem nominee. It's also very important to note that her god is a Hindu guru named Chris Butler, making Gabbard also at odds with Jesus Christ. She belongs nowhere near any office of responsibility in this country.
At best, I would love to see Tulsi replace Juan Williams on The 5.
