Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced on Friday that she will not seek re-election to Congress in 2020 so that she can focus on her bid for the White House.
“I will not be seeking re-election to Congress in 2020, and humbly ask you for your support for my candidacy for president of the United States,” Gabbard said in a video published early Friday morning.
The decision to not seek a fifth term representing Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district makes way for a competitive race for her seat, reported Hawaii News Now. The local outlet points out that Gabbard’s absence from Congress “likely has repercussions for other local races.”

Hilary thought she could squash Gabbard like a 1% bug, but Gabbard has a bite.

It is ludicrous that she would be accused of being a Russian asset. The real problem for the DNC is that Gabbard is the only truly electable candidate in the field of idiots now running, and as leftists they want to nip her in the bud before she can gain any traction on a Desperate Dem moderate base who have no one to support.
Its a DNC recipe that cannot help but convert millions of moderate Democrats to the Trump cause.As Pascale has found in his Trump rally attendence surveys, 26% to 30% of Trump rally attendees are registered Democrats. Its already happening. The DNC/Hillary Gabbard hate will accelerate the conversion of Dems over to President Trump.
Gabbard should indeed be the nominee for the Dems. In all truth, she is all they’ve got.Republican Congressman Gaetz the leader of the “Dirty Thirty” came to her defense, showing that Gabbard is likely a Dem who is not really insane with Trump Derangement Sybdrome in her party, someone who can work across the aisle.

I am one of Tulsi’s constituents. She has been AWOL from her elected office of Rep. HI CD2 for a long time.
I for one and very glad she is not running again, for here in Hawaii the power of incumbency, is usually only broken by the death of the officeholder. Ppl in Hawaii are politically unenlightened and will robot-like vote for anyone with a D in the back of their name . Especially if they are an incumbent.
Now the big question is will the Hawaii Republican Party actually put forth a real candidate of the non-incumbent contested office? One of the last effective State Republican parties in the U.S., I kind of doubt it.
President Trump should come out here, rock the boat and start a fire under the HRP

Thanks for posting that list; it’s helpful for people to see the info. It seems that too many on our side have become enthralled with Tulsi. Now even Hannity is showcasing her. (Tucker doing it is bad enough.)
