Shut the drive-through, then the front door.

That will help cure health problems the most.

Just keep voting democrat (communism), especially suburban soccer moms, and there won’t even have a restaurant left to even drive to.

Order through your app and then have the food joint bring it out to your car.

How will the city people survive? They will starve to death without their only source of food.

It will not be too long until traffic lights will have to go to avoid those polluting red lights.

Cowardly politicians waste their salaries on banning straws and drive throughs while many cities are third world hell holes.

Hmmm. Will bank drive throughs
be banned too? For some strange reason I don’t think so.

Years ago Rush Limbaugh used to play a skit about someone going through the drive through, and the audio over the speaker was so garbled that it was unintelligible. Very funny, and very true. Wish I couldn't find that on Youtube.

So? You can pretty much have anything delivered to your door these days.

There are various companies doing this. Grub Hub comes first to mind.

You can order from any restaurant in town, basically, and have it on your table in 30 minutes or so.

People want to eat fast/restaurant food, and the market will find a way to get it to them.

Anyone else notice that all of the pre-packaged, ‘make a meal at home’ services are no longer advertising? I wonder if they all went bust? Seemed like a dumb idea to me in the first place, but what do I know? I cook three meals a day nearly 365 for us at home. ;)

Most of the people in the drive thru are: People going to work, People coming home from work and People on their lunch hour.

If you keep them from the drive thru they are just going to order from Grub Hub. That will mean another car on the road and more pollution.

As usual they will make the "problem" they are trying to solve worse.

“There is, however, increasing support for the bans.”

Less products sold, less tax income.
Raise tax on remaining product to make up the difference.
Even less product sold.
Raise taxes on remaining product sold.
Etc. Etc. Etc

If they ban drive-through a, they should ban the rising trend of delivery service. Same things...traffic, exhaust, laziness.

Sure. Those extra fifty steps someone will have to walk from their car to the counter and back are really gonna offset that 1100 calorie triple McBelchBurger and greasy fries, and that 500 calorie Coke to wash it down with. BWAH-HAHAHAHAHAHA............🤣🤣🤣🤣 And Planet Fool will buy into it.
