Warren Applauds Transgender 9-Year-Old, Suggests Child Choose Education Secretary

Democrat presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) applauded a nine-year-old child who claims to be transgender during Thursday night’s CNN Equality Town Hall, and she suggested that the child assist her with choosing her education secretary, should she be elected.

“I want to make sure that the person I think is the right secretary of education meets you and hears your story, and then I want you to tell me if you think that’s the right person and then we’ll make the deal,” Warren said.

When I was a kid I watched My Three Sons and in that show was the character of "Ernie", the youngest son. Ernie wore a pair of glasses just like my dad's and as far as I could tell, Ernie was an intelligent and thoughtful young man who always wanted to do the right thing, but he was still a typical American pre-teen/teen-aged young man, with lots of things in life to figure out for himself.

Nobody told me that I should want to be like Ernie, but I really wanted a pair of glasses, clothes and hair (California setting, late '60's) like his. For about a year, I really wanted to be just like him but then it wore off.

This is not the case with kids who think they're feeling as though they were born in the wrong body. They're (actually) being adversely influenced by the left's abuse of the power of suggestion, which is also aimed at children, however indirectly.

The reason for all of this is (actually) evil and the evil ways of those who wage war on the traditional nuclear family and what they call "toxic masculinity".

I was not "gay for" Ernie Douglas or Barry Livingston, the actor who played the part, and nobody tricked me into wanting to be just like him, but there is no way in hell that a nine year-old today who sincerely thinks he or she is "transgendered" and tells the world about it with such certainty is not thinking for his or herself.

The comments by readers on Breitbart are spot on, including those asking ‘where's the father?’, and those stating that this is child abuse.

It used to be the girls who liked playing sports instead of playing with dolls or dressing up at that age were called ‘tomboys’, and no one cared or immediately encouraged them to ‘change gender’. This is really sad.

Ten years ago the number of girls or boys going to gender clinics was 1 to 3 a year, mostly boys. Today that same clinic will see something like 600 girls and 200 boys.

The HUGE increase in girls compared to boys indicates that it isn't just because being transgender is more acceptable. Many researchers have dubbed it “Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria” and is a social contagion, much like anorexia or cutting or the other hysteria's that teen girls are susceptible to. And of course with the media and the internet - the contagion is widespread.

Transgender sites will have questionaires to determine if you (a girl) is “really” a boy.

Did you like wearing jeans rather than a dress.
Did you like playing sports with the boys rather than activities with other girls.
When you entered puberty, did your breasts make you feel uncomfortable.
Did having your first period make you uncomfortable?

Etc. Of course, if you answered yes to several of those questions - well, you might just be transgender. And we can put you in touch with others that have gone through your same experiences. (It’s a cult.)

What a strange situation we’re in. A leading candidate for the Democrat presidential nomination believes (or claims to believe) that children who believe they are “really” the other sex have a crucial role to play in determining Federal education policy.

Sen. Warren must believe that this position opens an electoral advantage for her, either against other Democrats in the primaries or in the general election.

What is the reasoning behind this? Why does she believe she will attract more voters than she repels with this position?
