Just over half of voters want President Trump impeached and removed from office, according to a Fox News Poll released Wednesday.
A new high of 51 percent wants Trump impeached and removed from office, another 4 percent want him impeached but not removed, and 40 percent oppose impeachment altogether. In July, 42 percent favored impeachment and removal, while 5 percent said impeach but don’t remove him, and 45 percent opposed impeachment.

48,40 and 12?! That can’t be right. More like 37,35 and 28. Independents strongly favor Trump, so only polling 12% I’s lowers his numbers.
I think at this point, aside from a handful of people at fox, we can pretty much start calling them Faux News like the left has for years. Sad
Swamp must be crapping their pants. Quickly need polls to show public wants Trump’s head reallllll bad! This will give the House (fake) cover to move fast to impeach Trump.

You realize the great unwashed want to see a record breaking comic book hero sequel movie or go to a top musical artist concert and get the very latest fashion and show it off.
So they will say “Yeah, me, too. I want Trump out of there. I seen it on TV. That poll.”
“Explain what he did that was impeachable.”
“Duh, uh, well, CNN and now Fox said he is worse than Nixon for something or other, I think. They said this is a serious moment in history the Founding Fathers would want him impeached about.”

Brit, respectfully, it’s specifically Independents here that seem under-weighted?
We don’t survey Registered Voters but our Likely Voters based polls are weighted D37, R33, Ind 30. We also benchmark to the Michigan Index every 2 weeks, the Conference Board Index every 4 wks.
The media is interested in promoting establishment and globalist views. This has been going on for decades. Half truths and fake news are their stock and trade. Of course, many voters are easily hypnotized and propagandized because they lack independence of thought and crtical thinking skills. Generally these people believe that they have little stake in the process. No real change by the media can be expected here.
However, the Trump campaign must investigate the reasons for truly disaffected former Trump supporters in these states. Are their specific Trump policies that these people believe that have harmed them directly.
Even when Roger Ailes was running the place, Fox polls were tilted to the left.
Then why post it and give them the hit and credit?

There’s a short, little book called *How to Lie with Statistics* that I believe was written in the 50’s, that discusses that whole topic.
I had to read it for one of my science classes in college and I was so glad I did.
It was really eye opening in how statistics is manipulated to produce the results you want, and yes, taking polls until they get the results they want is one of the methods.
If you can get a copy, you should, and you should read it.
Maybe your local library has it.
If not, I do recall seeing it on Amazon and it is not expensive. Reviews are interesting.

Impeachment promotes ratings and sells newspapers. They can create all the fake polls they want. It is just trying to keep it alive. They know it is not justified.
