Trump should view impeachment by the swamp as badge of honor, shows he’s over target

Senate isn’t going to convict. He should accept that the swamp-defenders in the House are going to impeach him, and claim it to his rhetorical advantage. Just like he boasted about the boos he got from lobbyists and GOP bigwigs in the Republican primary debates

He’s an outsider who is trying to clean the stables. Of COURSE that means the swampsters will impeach him - if they didn’t it would be a sign he wasn’t making progress

AnywY, this is the message I’d write if I were his speechwriter

But he didn’t do anything to be impeached for!

I’d rather the Dems fail at impeachment.

I agree with you, he’s right over the target which is why they are squealing so much.

If I were Trump I’d be working with McConnell to try and get a Senate trial scheduled to drag out all the way until next November — with hundreds of witnesses (including JOE BIDEN) called to testify before the Senate.

“ But he didn’t do anything to be impeached for!”

He’s working to clean up corruption. Corrupt people will impeach him for that. He should brag about being targeted - impeached - by the swamp,

As FDR said, “I ask you to judge me by the enemies I’ve made”

Don’t kid yourself. It is an indelible stain on his administration. He joins Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. That is no badge of honor. These Dem bastards have no scruples.

It is safe to say some of the people who are doing the impeachment work with the swamp are also in the Republican party they just have an R next to their name not a D. Many of them have enriched themselves at our expense also what Rush talked about this past Friday. I believe Mitt Romney and Lindsey Graham and many others on our side have enriched. Nothing can compare to the nearly billionaires in the Democrat Party however.

Me too, but the House is so corrupt that impeachment may be inevitable. I’d so, Trump has to try to take rhetorical advantage, and that would be by simply telling the truth - he was impeached because he’s an outsider fighting corruption. It’s an honor to be attacked by a corrupt political swamp

50 years from now, the history surrounding how the impeachment came about will be lost. Trump will be lumped in with Clinton. The Left writes most of the history and they run our education system. I am sure that Trump does not want this stain on his record. It is a crying shame.

Leftists need realize that “deplorables” was received as a badge of honor, and was likely what put Trump over the top in just the right precincts. Americans have long accepted some form of “underdog troublemaker” as an admirable moniker.

A couple of observations. The polls they are citing INCLUDE pro Impeachment vote Republicans including Trump himself who are like BRING IT! When you combine Republicans who think these ridiculous changes will fall apart and Democrats who want to damage Trump, yeah support for impeachment is growing.

Secondly, none, zip nada of the outrageous corruption that is documented in “Secret Empires” by Peter Switzer was being discussed before this recent attack on Trump. So in a way it is a good thing.

The more vulnerable the democrats/deepstate/media are to being exposed for the criminals they are, the louder they squeal.

Off topic, I’ve seen two new Trump 2020 ads airing during the Nats-Dodgers game. Both hit back hard at the Dems without being defensive or over the top. Very good ads.

Republicans should jointly announce that henceforth if a dhimmicrat should ever be elected POTUS again the very first action the pubbies should take is impeachment.

When asked what are the grounds, just say, “No reason”.
