There is probably some “lag” here, between what’s in the news (impeachment-impeachment-impeachment-ad nauseam...) and the polls.
It also could be people are just sick of this ****.
OTOH, when the last Rasmussen poll came out (well, the last one I saw several days ago), and Trump’s numbers were ticking up, I was thinking “I’ll bet the Dems are going to have to come up with some new scam, since the Russia bit is finally fading away.”

Be angry, but turn it into action. Call out every congressman regardless of party and margin of victory in their last election. Point out Schiff’s latest lie found out that he did actually know who the Whistle blower was though denying he did.
He received the Whistle blowers report in August but lied he knew nothing of it. Let your Congressman know your in the game, your mad as hell and expect them to fight against this unconstitutional impeachment.Your vote depends upon it.
Time to accept that we are in the nonviolent early phase of a civil conflict not of our choosing.
It is time to use every Constitutional instrument given us to fight so we do not have to risk our own lives, fortunes, and, sacred honor later.

Rasmussen had him peaking at 53% on Tuesday last week, representing a 3-day average of the prior Thursday, Friday plus the Monday when Pelosi announced the impeachment inquiry. After that his approval showed a steady decline down to 48% today.
A small difference is that the Hill-HarrisX poll is of registered voters while Rasmussen surveys likely voters.
