Andrea Mitchell: Bolton 'not leaving quietly,' will return to TV to bash Trump
MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell said Wednesday that ousted national security advisor John Bolton "is not leaving quietly" and will return to TV to voice his displeasure with President Trump.
"He was tweeting his objections. He was texting reporters including our own reporters at the White House immediately," Mitchell told the network's "Morning Joe" program. "I was on the air when this all happened. It happened one minute before we started our show, so we blew everything out and just went wall to wall for the hour, and people were texting in and showing me their texts from John Bolton as we were rocking back and forth."

We don’t know if he said anything. Mitchel is CLAIMING that he was sending private messages to reporters, and that she got some.
And, because she hates trump, and also hates Bolton, she is revealing her source. Because she is not a journalist, and has no integrity.
Trump was painted as madman who would have us at war with everyone. He had just reversed positions with his critics.
Sorry. You get the job, you behave with honor, even if you feel like you got shabbily treated. This is not an administration of HOW YOU FEEL, it is an administration of WHAT YOU GET DONE.
No... it proves Andrea Mitchell is up to her old games.
She pulled the same bullcrap with Mattis.
Mattis Deflects MSNBC Hosts Invitations to Slam Trump ‘Andrea, I’m going to frustrate you here’

Former secretary of defense James Mattis repeatedly refused MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell’s invitations to criticize President Donald Trump in an interview Thursday. Mattis, a retired Marine Corps general, resigned in December over policy differences with Trump, specifically the president’s decision to withdraw American troops from Syria. Mattis, an advocate of cultivating alliances and American engagement, said he had “no choice” but to depart. Mitchell quoted a portion of Mattis’s new book Call Sign Chaos that criticized the Obama administrationincluding former vice president and 2020 candidate Joe Bidenfor leaving the Middle East in “disarray” and “our friends confused.” “Aren’t we at...
Trump wanted a team who could present all sides of an issue, Bolton believed Trump hired him because he agreed with Bolton’s vision, which was not the case. Bolton certainly could make his case, but Trump was listening to others as well, and ultimately, Trump didn’t agree with him.
Bolton won’t go on CNN full time because he knows they have no use for him post Trump. He’ll go back to Fox and tip toe through the tulips like Mattis is doing now.
If only that were the case, I’d be with you. I think people coming and going is fine (although the democrats have made it extremely difficult with all of their delays on confirmations).
But Trump isn’t saying that, he’s just throwing a bunch of hissy fits, claiming that these are all terrible people.
Because Trump is apparently really bad at hiring anybody. Do you believe that? After all, one of his strengths was supposedly hiring great people, and surrounding himself with great people.
Trump is doing some great things; he is fulfilling most of his promises, more so than most any other president.
But he is a temperamental, narcissistic child.
Those private messages are part of his responses yesterday that I was talking about.
Andrea Mitchell said the same thing about Mattis and tried like crazy to get him to slam Trump, to no avail.
Mattis has said many things of POTUS that can be construed as negative and you know it. He is of course couching his words so people like you can defend him.
I’m guessing, if it is at all true, it means that a bunch of reporters don’t give a damn about source confidentiality.
I assume Bolton gave too many details of his interactions with Trump to his CNN buddies and the recent Taliban thing was last straw.
If Bolton really believed that, then hes a moron. In the 2016 primaries Trump beat the sh!t out of Yeb Bush from one end of the country to the other by hammering him over the nonsense that people like John Bolton brought to the GWB administration.
John Bolton might have been a patriot, and might still be a patriot. Benedict Arnold was Washington's best general, and was a patriot until he wasn't. Time will tell what Bolton does and ultimately proves to be. President Trump forces all to reveal their true colors. When the sting is over, we'll finally know the truth about a lot of people...
Fixed.
Trump is almost always playing to the audience. Having terminated employees being disgruntled over termination is good for TV ratings. However not necessarily good for polling but the base always seems to like a good firing .
John Bolton would further and forever BECLOWN himself if he didn’t keep his mouth shut.
Even if he does start attacking Trump, Bolton is such an unappealing guy, it will make ZERO difference.
Bolton might have gone over the edge with the Taliban issue. I personally don’t think we should talk to them under any circumstances. Tell them what’s what...don’t talk about it.
Well, Trump hired him. One day people will start to notice a theme. Perhaps Trump has a hiring problem.
I’d be willing to bet that Bolton was the MSM source for much of the Pro-War talk that kept popping up out of nowhere.
NK
Afghanistan
Iran
I never did before but based on his running to get coverage (and media praise of him) I now suspect he was a leaker
