Andrea Mitchell: Bolton 'not leaving quietly,' will return to TV to bash Trump
MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell said Wednesday that ousted national security advisor John Bolton "is not leaving quietly" and will return to TV to voice his displeasure with President Trump.
"He was tweeting his objections. He was texting reporters including our own reporters at the White House immediately," Mitchell told the network's "Morning Joe" program. "I was on the air when this all happened. It happened one minute before we started our show, so we blew everything out and just went wall to wall for the hour, and people were texting in and showing me their texts from John Bolton as we were rocking back and forth."

I think Trump has both sides of people on the issue, and weighed their arguments and in the end made his decision, and since he didn’t side with Bolton, Bolton threw a hissy fit.
Grab a megaphone and start talking trash against Trump on a street corner.
You will be aired on cnn, and go far!
Yesterday I predicted that Bolton would be showing up on CNN and MSNBC within two weeks. It looks like I may have underestimated that sliminess, worminess nastiness and douchebaggery of Bolton. Imagine him tweeting CNN already.
He tweeted ONE TIME about it.
The liberal media are fickle. Or blow in the wind and always in the direction that hurts their opponents. They have no integrity.
I herby rename the democrat party and the American left the Contrian-crats .
Whatever Trump is for, their not (and can count on the media pretending they never were).
Trump wants to build a wall- thats racist!!
Trump changes his mind about building a wall- thats racist and shows a lack of concern for Americas safety and security. BUILD THE WALL.
Trump says up. -down
Tomorrow Trump says down - its up and and its always been up.
Correct. Bolton was hired for a job. Trump is a business man. You get a job, you do your job, you get paid. If you did a good job, you get a nice letter of recommendation to your prospective new employer.
Bolton did his saber rattler job. He’ll get a nice letter of recommendation from Trump.
If he starts bashing Trump wondering If he was leaking to the press?
I am sure Trump is aware of this and does not really care.
You believe Andrea Mitchell?
how strong are the WH non-disclosure agreements??
No kidding.
We’re all supposed to run in circles screaming like little girls because Andrea Mitchell says so?
Ironically, I think this is going to turn out to be a huge political windfall for Trump in 2020. One of the challenges he has ahead of him in 2020 is explaining to his core supporters why the U.S. is still losing military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan -- 4-5 YEARS after Trump promised to get them the hell out.
Now he has a perfect answer: "It was the Swamp's fault. That's why I fired so many of these jerks."
I hope John doesnt implode, I have always been an admirer of him.
How unfortunate if this is going to be the way John Bolton leaves the stage. Allowing his bitterness to take hold so quickly. He must be aware of what proper protocol is supposed to look like.
Expect him to join up with the other Sour Grapes, Heart Band members, such as Scaramucci, George Conway and Joe (BigMouth) Walsh. Maybe they should all go on a Road Trip.
(I’ve posted this thought earlier, and I’m thinking more strongly about it). With Romney in the US Senate and Bolton still in power, we just might have been in real danger of a coup.
But there is quite a different matter to consider: Bolton has an absolute right to take to the airways to defend his dignity and honor concerning the nature of his termination. If his account is right (repeat: if) Bolton was shabbily treated. It must be said that, because this kind of treatment as alleged has not been limited only to Bolton, reveals a problem of character if it occurred as Bolton describes. If the president set Bolton up to be fired the next day, Bolton has every right to fight his case in public. If the president proceeds to trash Bolton, as he has done to other departures in the past, Bolton can and should fight his corner.
However this saga unwinds, national security comes first and subordinates who are patriots do not air their policy disagreements when they might threaten national security.
I'm enjoying the true colors of those who support John Bolton being exposed.
Can anyone translate this to English?
It’s utter nonsense... Andrea Mitchell said the same thing about Mattis and tried like crazy to get him to slam Trump, to no avail.
