Andrea Mitchell: Bolton 'not leaving quietly,' will return to TV to bash Trump
MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell said Wednesday that ousted national security advisor John Bolton "is not leaving quietly" and will return to TV to voice his displeasure with President Trump.
"He was tweeting his objections. He was texting reporters including our own reporters at the White House immediately," Mitchell told the network's "Morning Joe" program. "I was on the air when this all happened. It happened one minute before we started our show, so we blew everything out and just went wall to wall for the hour, and people were texting in and showing me their texts from John Bolton as we were rocking back and forth."

Proves Bolton should be gone
Funny thing is, the MSM always hated Bolton.
Now they adore him, and will fight to have him on. Funny how that works.
John.....go to your room....you’re only proving the President’s point....
Bolton is a patriot. I certainly hope he doesn’t go in this direction.
Too bad that things worked out this way.
But now Bolton should show some class and shut up.
I hope his texts made more sense than her quotes in the article.
No matter what is potentially good about Bolton, he should have the grace to go quietly. I’m tired of these whiners who cannot leave office with a minimum of decorum.
Rush called this yesterday...
Has CNN offered him a job yet? Or do they only take disgraced former ‘intelligence’ thugs?
Bolton will be very noisy. He didn’t get his hot war with N. Korea OR Iran. I’m sure CNN or MSNBC will try to get him on to sympathize with him /eyeroll.
Has CNN offered him a job yet? Or do they only take disgraced former ‘intelligence’ thugs?
That said, even though I disagree with Bolton - he’s an intelligent man and an important voice IF war is necessary.
Apart from his text yesterday, did Bolton say anything else about it? This is fake news, as they are assuming or wishing that he is gonna go on TV and trash the President.
I always liked John Bolton. Hope he is not a turncoat.
I read an analysis of Trump’s frequent firings. Trump is from the real-estate world. That is a world or projects. You hire somebody to do something and then when the something is done, they move on. But Washington is a place of “permanent” employment. Once somebody is hired they become their own being, not really responsible to their “boss.” Thus, they can do or say anything they want even if it conflicts with what the “boss” wants. Well, not under Trump. He hired you for a “job” and if you did it already or you aren’t doing it to his specifications, you are gone.
Frankly, I like Trump’s approach. Yes, I liked Bolton in his previous jobs but if he wasn’t working to make Trump’s vision work then he needs to go. On the other hand, I’d hate to have a bunch of yes men around Trump. I think, though, Trump can tell the difference.
If he goes on TV to stab at Trump, it will give a view into his character, and his inconvenience does not match the sacrifice of the soldiers he likes to send into harm’s way.
Andrea must have had a huge tingle down both legs with that kind of breaking coverage! She might have even smiled a little.
Thumper’s Mom’s rule: If you can’t say anything nice, STFU. If it were the clintoons he was gonna talk about, he’d have to be watching not just his 6 but his 10, 2 and 4 as well.
If true, it proves Rush is right again.
Yes, if he does this, it will prove Bolton’s critics right all along.
If you’ll recall, Steve Bannon left and said, “I’m going to war FOR Trump.”
Be nice if a few more had that attitude.
