Former Cruz Spokesman: The Republican Party Is "Dead And Buried"
RCP ^ | On Date August 28, 2019 | Tim Hains

Posted on 08/31/2019 9:08:33 AM PDT by conservative98

JOE SCARBOROUGH, MSNBC: And Rick Tyler, here we go with the Republican Party again, here in the state of Alabama, a state I know well and love, but you can go around the country and see the Trump effect on one Republican Party after another, and it is truly distressing all in support of a president who says he's going to seize private lands and told his aides to do it illegally and he would pardon them. From a president who ordering private companies to move out of other countries, a guy who's running up the biggest debt ever, some of the biggest deficits ever, and this is the guy that Trump Republicans are following over the cliff, politically.

RICK TYLER, MSNBC: Donald Trump has the single largest operating deficit in American history, and he passes budgets without really any negotiation at all, you know, this is what conservatives used to try to do, get a smaller more responsible, limited government. He's gone in the opposite direction of that. These tariffs, which he lies about, are taxes, they hurt the poor the most. When you start taxing food products at 25%, that doesn't mean anything probably to me and you, Joe. We could probably afford that. But it means a lot to a lot to people who can't afford, it is maybe the difference between eating today or not.

You know, on issue after issue after issue, what the Republican Party stood for, what it used to say it stood for, it doesn't stand for those things anymore. The Republican Party, as far as I can tell, is the Republican Party is gone, dead and buried and it is probably not coming back.

Oh no, the GOP Establishment is alive and well as Leftist Light, doing the bidding of the Socialist Delusional Lying Left, but unlike the Dems thinly disguised.

It’s going to cost a bunch of money to undo what Obama did during his 8 years in office. Might as well get used to it. If congress would start doing their job instead of obstructing the President in reforms it would get over quicker and there will be no holding the economy back. Just getting the wall built as soon as possible and enforcing existing immigration laws will save billions of dollars drain on the economy.

Thanks for the nice thoughts there.

It’s frustrating to see what takes place these days.

We’ve got the dems who despise him.

We’ve got the Rs who despise him.

We have some Rs who say they support him, and then find something to rip him for constantly.

And then we have the adults in the room who realize how much good he is doing and give him some space to screw up.

No leader will be perfect. No other leader will have half the energy and focus this guy does.

As with Reagan, there will be people on our side trashing something or other he did thirty years ago, just to prove they know more than the rest of us.

We’ll dismiss them and forever remember what nut jobs they are.

Later.

Fake News.

Trump is the only thing saving the GOP. I detest deficit spending but the GOP Congress is pathetic.

[single largest operating deficit in American history]

You can thank George W. and Big Mike's wife for that. Even if Queen Hillary had been installed, it would be the same story, only worse. But you already know that, don't you, Former Ted Cruz Spokesman? Of course you do. Typical Democrat spin and lies from their best friends in the Uniparty GOP Establishment.

I agree with you that President Trump is not the problem. He offered the nation a last chance to turn things around.

I blame Paul Ryan, John Roberts, McCain/Romney/Flake/Kasick (and other deep state traitors) as people who stopped good things from happening. President Trump seems to be a person who trusts most people to want to do what's best for the country. His big mistake might well have been letting Paul Ryan set the agenda and put the tax reform before infrastructure and signing the unbalanced budget which was Paul Ryan's treachery.

“No doubt that his victory in the three states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin by a total of 77,000 votes ”

Romney lost these states by a 673k vote margin. So, a 740k vote turnaround isn’t bad for President Trump. He is evidently what we wanted, and btw- Trump has over a 90% approval with republicans. He’s our best chance to save our republic. Some mealy mouth Romney, McCain or traitor Scarborough do not stand a chance.

"revisited"

GHWB's son Marvin set to have dinner with John Hinkley's parents the night before Reagan's assassination attempt just might qualify for use of that word.

Donald Trump has the single largest operating deficit in American history, and he passes budgets without really any negotiation at all,

I was under the impression that Congress passes budgets and the Presidents signs them into law. Wonder when that changed?
