That didn't take long.
A former Obama adviser set the stage for a potentially nasty confirmation fight in the Senate next year within an hour of the Supreme Court announcing Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg recently completed three weeks of radiation treatment after doctors found a localized cancerous tumor on her pancreas.

Ginsburg, who is 86, has battled various illnesses over the last 20 years. The Supreme Court said in a statement Friday that she tolerated the treatment well" and concluded that there is no evidence of disease elsewhere in her body.

While the right watches passively.
Perfectly expressed!
Fine. Let’s forget about the election and go straight for the split.
Obviously they cannot be including her mental faculties and beliefs in that statement?
Breyer is up there too, at the age 81, but I am not sure of his health. If both those two go before November next year, it sure will be interesting.
“Despite all the happy talk by the leftist apologists, it seems clear that to say Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg has one foot in the grave and the other foot on a banana peel is being overly optimistic”
She will be on 60 Minutes this Sunday doing one armed push ups. Ok, ok I’m only half kidding. But seriously, after the last health scare the Marxist Stream Media set up her up with a phony photo op doing yoga or some other lame physical activity.
I just can’t see Trump picking Cruz after that crap speech in the convention.
Like Obamacare?
I think the Left is more worried about a Strict Constructionist Justice replacing RBG and upholding the 2nd Amendment by striking down all kinds of unconstitutional infringement on Americans’ 2nd Amendment rights by several of the Communist states than they are about overturning Roe V Wade.
..alliance between Senator Ted Cruz and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, formed to deny Donald J. Trump..
Traitor. No forgiveness ever.
I agree except I don’t understand your wanting to increase judges to 11? Please elaborate on the reasoning behind that. Why not go the other way and reduce to 7? Or even 8. And, if theres a tie vote, the Prez settles it.
Why not have a maximum limit on cases they can accept each year? Maybe we could get better, more well thought out decisions? If there were a unanimous vote by all 9 judges to bust the cap and accept a particular case, they could.
Just a few more thoughts.
Darn right.

Ted Cruz said. “When you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against ...
Screws to Cruz.
It is not a warning, it is a threat.

Agreed! Feel free to copy and paste the following cited information enough times for everyone to see it (many). If you haven’t seen it, you might be surprised.

There are no conservative women judges with enough experience for a chance at the Supreme Court. Appointing anyone less than a proven supporter of our Second Amendment would assure the rape of our country by Francis-like communism.
So, that’s why Deep State resurected the Brett K thing
Dear Ax tell your friends to stop obstructing.
Explaind the absence from public view.
RBG can solidfy her place in history by resigning from SCOTUS and enjoying whatever time she has left
Only in your imagination!
