That's how Ilhan Omar's campaign spokesman Ben Goldfarb summarized Omar's conjugal arrangements in an email in August 2016, when Omar was running for Congress and her advisers were trying to stifle allegations of double marriage — with a man alleged to be her brother.

Lying to take the oath of citizenship, lying while taking the oath. Lying to take the oath of office. Lying while taking the oath of office. Pinocchia. She became a citizen before this marriage occurred so she didn't lie about that. Oath of office of office is to defend the Constitution so I don't know how this impacts that either. But helping someone obtain citizenship through fraudulent means is a felony so far as I know. So she could be charged with that and expelled.
