On November 10, 2017, we reported how the Wall Street Journal had received information from anonymous sources who said that General Flynn and his son Michael were involved in a plot to kidnap Muslim cleric and return him to Turkey.

The Wall Street Journal reported –

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating former White House national security adviser Mike Flynn’s alleged role in a plan to forcibly remove a Muslim cleric living in the U.S. and deliver him to Turkey in return for millions of dollars, according to people familiar with the investigation.

(Of course in the aftermath of Obama it is now customary and expected for FBI, DOJ and other government officials to leak true and false stories to the left wing media as long as they attack or discredit President Trump or anyone who voted for him. These corrupt and criminal leaks will never be investigated or addressed in court with the Deep State in charge of the US government.)

Regardless, the story may have been placed with the WSJ to entice General Flynn to later plead guilty to lying to the FBI. Of course, what Flynn supposedly lied about has never been leaked through the mainstream liberal media.

But based on a report at Neonrevolt, there is much more to this story.

In August 2016, Manafort’s connections to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his pro-Russian Party of Regions drew national attention in the US, where it was reported that Manafort may have received $12.7 million in off-the-books funds from the Party of Regions.[56]

On August 17, 2016, Donald Trump received his first security briefing.[57]

The same day, August 17, Trump shook up his campaign organization in a way that appeared to minimize Manafort’s role.

It was reported that members of Trump’s family, particularly Jared Kushner who had originally been a strong backer of Manafort, had become uneasy about his Russian connections and suspected that he had not been forthright about them.[58]

Manafort stated in an internal staff memorandum that he would “remain the campaign chairman and chief strategist, providing the big-picture, long-range campaign vision”.[59]

However, two days later, Trump announced his acceptance of Manafort’s resignation from the campaign after Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway took on senior leadership roles within that campaign.[60][61]

Fine, the acting Defense Department Inspector General, has confirmed he is investigating Flynn.[38]

Well, he should have been gone after day two.

Newly released notes from an Oct. 11, 2016, meeting between Steele and former [Hillary-Obama] Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec cast doubt on the reliability of his dossier and called into question the information provided to the court in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act application that was submitted later that month against onetime Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The notes, which Kavalec is believed to have emailed to the FBI in mid-October, indicate that Steele knew he had been hired by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee and had been told they wanted his findings made public prior to the 2016 election on Nov. 8.

The Daily Caller reported the notes show Steele identified Russian sources, including former Russian foreign intelligence director Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Vladislav Surkov, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Nunes said Clinton's campaign and the DNC "plainly colluded" with the Russians to receive and disseminate false information about Trump.

Journalists in Russia and abroad have speculated that Surkov writes under the pseudonym Nathan Dubovitsky, although the Kremlin denies it.[11][12][13][14]

Very good comment. Myself, I see no way out of this, other than the break up of the nation. And even then, there has to be punishment and/or elimination of the corrupt ones, to prevent a re-infection in the remaining non-Communist states. There is no way to clear this sort of infection, other than fire.

Many (me included) thought term limits were the answer, but the problem goes much deeper than who we elect even though that would help. The permanent staff, bureaucracy, and the revolving door is just as corrosive as the politicians we elect and more powerful. It has infected our entire society from K-12, the courts, your city council, state government, and federal government. It has infected everything in our culture and even our churches.
