Also remember that there was always ONLY a remnant of Jews who were saved, or found righteous before God under the Old Covenant. Always only a remnant were saved. This was the Pharisees' mistake: they believed simply by being born of Jewish blood, they would go to Heaven, or would be reconciled to God. This is a complete falsehood.
King Saul/Manasseh/King Ahab are just a few ancient Jews who were not reconciled to God in the afterlife, i.e. they died in their sins. Or how about the majority of Jews in Elijah's day who succumbed to perverted Baal worship in the pagan Temples? Alienated from God. Or those who were struck down by God in the desert when they did more perverse worship of the Golden Calf while Moses was getting the Ten Commandments? These Jews died alienated from God. I.e. they went to eternal hellfire.
