RUSH: I was perusing the Drudge page over the top of the hour break.
Man, the Drudge page. Depending on the time you look at it, I mean, it makes it look like this country’s finished, we’re done, it’s over. You may as well forget about it and just enjoy your life. Well, let me give an example. Let me just give you these headlines. Ready? “U.S. Cities Overwhelmed with Illegals from Ebola Countries.” (Snort!) Do you know what Ebola is? If you’ve got it, you’re dead. There’s no cure for Ebola, particularly if it’s Ebola Zaire. You get that, and it’s, “Sayonara.” There isn’t any cure.
Now the U.S. is “Overwhelmed with Illegals from Ebola Countries.” Not that they have Ebola, but who’s gonna stop and make that distinction? Next headline: “Not Being Screened, Not Being Quarantined.” (laughing) “California Desert Town Sees Migrant Surge as Crisis Worsens.” “Nonstop Dumping: ‘New Phenomenon.'” “Crawling Out of Manholes in El Paso.” The illegals are in the sewer system and they’re popping up out of manhole covers in El Paso, folks — and there’s nothing anybody can do about it.
“Trump: Mexico Doing Great Job at Border, Really Helping Us.” Now, Drudge puts that under those four headlines that we’re being overrun by Ebola, and illegals are swarming El Paso through manhole covers. Next headline: “Private Wall Group Ordered to Keep Gate Open.” (laughing) So got this guy that is running a GoFundMe page to get money to build the wall and building the wall and somebody’s telling him he can’t close it. (laughing)

I never understood the fascination with Drudge. The format sucks. It used to refresh every 5 seconds so he could claim more hits, irritating beyond belief.

I will look at Drudge, very rarely these days, and if I see an interesting headline I will do a search for it. I never click on anything in his site anymore.
I use Firefox with NoScript, Adblock Plus, and Ghostery. The Liberty Daily and every other web site I go to load clean and I have no pop-ups. Every now and then there are some pages that end up with formatting issues but that is just a small percentage.
The greatest thing about using the three add-ons I use is I never have the problems others write about.
I have it on good authority that Rush, Snerdly and the staff check FR each weekday.
and minus his personal commentary theres rarely anything new he brings up, as this site has covered it and discussed it beforehand.

Drudge even a year ago & Drudge Now = 2 different things entirely.
The suggestion in this thread, that someone other than Drudge may be in control now, makes sense to me.
Duh. Most of drudge stuff is idiotic anti trump hysteria, fake news stories, and fear mongering nonsense. THAT is why people have little use for drudge.
I have no problem with Drudge...it just headline...face it the news is 90% negative for Trump

About 6-7 years ago Drudge abandoned any pretense of doing work and now just links stories from all the hard-left media orgs we originally went to Drudge to avoid.
Ebola crossed the border from the Congo.
It is currently at 2000 deaths.
If that doubles by next month, then they DO NOT have any control over it.
6 months of unchecked growth - 137,000 cases.
6 more is over 8 million.
Past a certain point exponential growth is not squared it becomes cubed- because there is no more services in affected areas.
6 months after that the whole world is in panic as it reaches over 50 million.
We have not seen a pandemic in recent memory, and people are stupid.

Drudge also fawns over Pete Buttigieg and kept pushing Rocketman, the Elton John movie. I love that the movie tanked. I remember him posting stories predicting Rocketman to be bigger than Bohemian Rhapsody. Well guess what Drudge? Elton John is no Freddie Mercury.
FreeRepublic is my go-to site for news and I am ALWAYS more informed than anyone else I talk to.
I had some libtard friends try to tell me about how evil Trump was for the Indian Oil Pipeline fiasco.
When I told them how the Indians wanted to continue to be paid for oil that would no longer be crossing their lands, they were surprised that they had not heard that. Or the fact that over 50 pipelines already crossed that river. Or that the Indians had turned down a previous offer that was more than they were already getting... it was ALL about money, NOT ‘sacred lands’ because it did not cross any sacred lands.
I have not and don’t plan to. But Rush just gave him about a million clicks.
Interesting! Mark Levin said the same exact thing last night on HIS Radio show word for word. Never really went into what exactly on the drudgereport he referred to.

Letting illegals stay in the country indiscriminately means letting illegals stay in the country that are from Ebola ravaged countries.
And Democrats should own that.
Politifacts claims that refugees from African countries have traveled “months” to get to Mexico and would be dead by now, so they claim there is zero risk. But they offer no proof for their claim or explanation of how African’s are traveling.
Ebola has a 2 to 21 day incubation period before you show symptoms. Plenty of time for Africans to Get to Mexico and cross the border before showing symptoms.
