The Clintons may have left a certain Washington address almost 20 years ago, but -- unlike most of their presidential predecessors -- the family has kept a home in the US capital since leaving the White House.
Now, Hillary is offering a rare glimpse into the pair's urban retreat, after she opened the doors of the neo-Georgian residence to Architectural Digest.
A series of exclusive photographs for Architectural Digest's site show off the property's airy conservatory and sizable swimming pool. An accompanying interview also sees the former Secretary of State recalling her first encounter with the home in 2000, the last full year Bill Clinton served as president.
"It was an emotional reaction," she's quoted as saying. "When I was elected to the Senate in 2000, I knew that I needed a place to live while we were in session during the year. So I began looking."

And over here is the pantry. Notice the elegant gold-plated chinaware donated by the American people from the White House collection.
It’s not the same. Close. The Wilson plate emblem is not in a circle. The plate on the bookshelf is.
They are as filthy and repugnant as they come.
She probably ripped off all that stuff.
I think this is a confessional. The Russians were on her side along with the Brits, French, Germans, etc.
That is Hillary’s house. Not Bill’s.
The only other thing that jumps out at me from the pics is Hill’s love of cobolt and the necklace she’s wearing in the dining room picture. Maybe she wants someone to poison our president.
Maybe one from another admin.

It looks sterile to me, too. Like a movie set, not a home. And the art is ugly.
I don’t think so. I went through them and didn’t see any that even came close except the Wilson ones. Maybe it’s some kind of commemorative plate they received somewhere. It is very close to the Wilson one though.
Early on in the Bush administration my family went to DC and we contacted the DC freepers to see if they had anything going on that we could join in with them.
Hillary was having a fund raiser for Nita Lowey at her new house at the end of a cul-de-sac. Had to be this house. Most of the freep was at the corner where the dems had to turn to get to the house but one DC freeper walked me to the house and we stood on the other side of the road with a cop or maybe he was Secret Service.
Hillary's people had a check-in table in the driveway and then the attendees walked around the house to the back yard for the event. They didn't even get to go in the house.
I don't know where all the 5,500 square feet were hiding but it looked like a tiny 3 bedroom/2 bath size house from the front.
As for US paying for the house, damn right we did, they charged the US gov. lots of $$$ to set up living quarters for the secret service, rent ya know and it was the same amount as the morgage was for the whole property. The Clinton's always screw US over.
Oh BTW Hillary was late to her own fundraiser. She showed up while we were standing there.

Referring the the movie she produced enjtitled “The Butler.” The butler I knew was one and the same. She distorted his life horribly.

The red roses in several rooms also jumped out at me. It made me think of the War of the Roses and the House of York. The Duke of York will be escorting President Trump during some of his visit to England.
